The tacos here were quite delicious. The trompo tacos, in particular, were amazing. The service and atmosphere were also pleasant, and it was not crowded during our visit. We also sampled the asada and zucchini tacos, which were enjoyable, but the trompo remained my personal favorite. This establishment certainly deserves greater recognition.

We visited NYC from Seattle and Santo Taco was one of our first stops! I read about the steak trompo taco in Eater and knew I had to get it. It was delicious, especially with the green salsa. We also tried the chicken and carnitas tacos (and the agua fresca) – everything was so good! We were able to sit and eat quickly, then were on to our next spot. Would recommend!

tacos were really not that good and way too expensive
Excellent tacos. I loved the chicken one surprisingly and the steak was great as well!
Good size taco, authentic enough. Got the chicken thigh taco and it was great. Got the Carne Asada and the meat was OLD. I took one bite and couldn’t keep eating it. Ordered another chicken thigh taco to complete my dinner.

The flattened steak was pretty genius, but the tacos came out tepid and could definitely use some more heat.

Another great addition to the growing list of awesome taco spots in NYC. I’ve been to Santo Taco a couple of times now, and every taco I’ve tried has been spot on. The one you have to get, though, is their Mexico City–style steak trompo—thinly sliced, perfectly seasoned steak over a fresh tortilla. So good!!Just an all-around great spot for a quick, easy, and seriously tasty lunch when you’re in Nolita.
To pricy, taste is not even good. Tortilla is like plastic. Don’t waste your time. A Mexican food truck gives you more for what pay.
Sadly disappointed 😢
The agua santa is meh

The steak taco is great, high quality and tasty. One of the best taco in town. The price is reasonable in Soho. If you are in that area must try out.
