It is very expensive but beautiful. If you can, grab a table that faces Central Park.

All very good. The dessert, the cheese danish, fantastic. And the savory one, the Chelsea salad Sandwich, too!

I had a piece of poppy seed cake for breakfast and loved it.
But I was even more delighted to see a Ratatouille on the counter, it was a lovely touch; a perfect wink that blends creativity and good taste.

I ordered three scones, which came with butter and jam. The 3 butters were frozen, so I asked if they could be swapped for soft butter. The server refused and said I’d need to pay 50 cents for each replacement. I explained the situation again, thinking there was a misunderstanding, but she insisted on the charge. Her attitude was incredibly rude. We spent over $50 on breakfast (likely more since my mother paid for hers separately), and this is the service we received? Absolutely unacceptable.

I didn't find the service very pleasant, all in a hurry and few words without even looking at your face, as soon as I pressed (no tip) that I made a mistake the cashier looked at me badly, it doesn't seem like professional behavior to me!

I don’t understand the rating system. I think this is an underrated bakery shop! I strongly recommend their black currant scone! Must try!!! Their jam was also good, a bit pricy but that is what to be expected. I will definitely come back and try others!

Change your staff! Very rude and unhelpful staff. Ignored me despite me waiting at the counter for ages. They were short and dismissive. They don’t seem to care about customer service. Also don’t speak English at all so basic requests are hard work. Food is fine but served in plastic containers with plastic cutlery even if you dine in.

A classic cafe in Chelsea market, great for a quick pit stop. I was here during a long weekend so a lot of other spots were closed.

Nothing crazy but good enough! Pasties were average.

I ordered their chicken burger, and the staff didn't even ask if it was to dine in or to go. They just gave me the chicken in a box.
The burger was on the bed of salad, so the bread was soggy. They need to serve the salad on the side. So I tossed the bread and it was a very expensive piece of chicken after all.
Clearly, Sarabeth is overrated.

Enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and a slice of lemon bread as a snack while walking around the market.
