We had an out-of-this-world experience at Scalini Fedeli for our wedding rehearsal dinner. From the chef's amuse-bouche to the wide array of options provided for the prix-fixe menu, every bite was delicious and savory. The desserts were extremely enjoyable as well, and the stellar service really added to the romantic and elegant atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely be recommending and re-visiting Scalini Fedeli for future important celebrations.

This restaurant serves some of the best food in New York, and certainly the best Italian cuisine! The dining room is elegant, with gothic vaulted ceilings an velvet-upholstered banquettes. The wait staff are attired in suits and ties. They are cordial and helpful. The menu is prix fixe, and reasonably priced. The ingredients are of the highest quality, and perfectly prepared from the amusement niche through dessert. The wine list is well-assembled, and contains selections ranging from double digits to upper three digits. We drank a Cilento Fiano for $120 which nicely complemented both my wife's sole and my veal chop. This was an excellent and interesting Italian white with a sylvan aroma and a rich flavor. Scalini Fideli is one of our go-to restaurants for a celebratory dinner!

A high end culinary dining experience. You pay for the great ambiance, service, and food. The ambiance and service are exceptional. The food was good with a couple of misses. For a main course there were only three small scallops. Also, as a main course, the lamb chops were very tasty, but came out medium when I ordered medium rare. My ragu pasta as a primi was excellent. I also found a bottle of wine to order at a relatively cheap price, $70 a bottle. I did this because wines by the glass were like $28 a glass for likely a small pour. ! All in all we'll return again for a special occasion and use a Christmas dining gift certificate. The prix fixe dinner is $89 p/p. Out final bill came to $280 before tip.

An amazing old-school restaurant. Not everything is perfect with the food, but it’s worth coming here for the service. I haven’t experienced anything like this in a long time. They really put in a lot of effort. I wish for more satisfied and well-fed customers. I will definitely return!

One of the finest dining experiences ever! From a warm welcome to impeccable service allowing us to set the pace, from the additional preludes and 2 other interludes (all tasty and complimentary), to an excellent Umbrian wine, to the astonishingly varied menu of numerous selections of primi e secondi and the exceptionally fine preparations... all for a reasonable prix fixe which included scrumptious dessert choices. The ambiance is refined and muted for conversation and sharing during a totally unforgettable night! Bravissimo!
