Absolutely one of the best restaurants in NYC. Excellent food, well prepared and brought to the table with elegance. A caution, even with each carefully prepared offering and only two courses, we all felt there was almost too much (of a good thing?). A unique aspect is the two-sided menu, appetizer course on the left and the main course on the right. But to us either side could have easily been a main course with at least four small plates in-between (plus bread) that were not even on the menu. The dessert menu (included in the price) was a whole separate menu. We somewhat struggled to finish. But an absolutely excellent restaurant. For 4 people, a bottle of champaign and then each a glass of wine, with tip it was $725. Expensive but to all of us, an excellent value.

A hidden gem with artfully prepared (but not flashy) dishes, a refuge for the fewer and fewer people in NYC who actually understand great cooking rather and want to have nothing to do with places with loud thumping music and overpriced, mediocre, and just plain illogical offerings.

An all around lovely meal and evening. The food was Excellent! The 3 complementary starters ( especially the shrimp) were delicious. We had the ricotta gnocchi and pasta arrabiatta to start, then veal and the pork chop as our mains. All delicious! The pistachio crème brûlée— life changing good! Very comfortable elegant seating with good spacing so conversation was easy. Highly recommend!

Such a perfect setting for any intimate gathering. I shared a very special evening with my son prior to his wedding and it was perfection. The food is outstanding and plenty of it. Soft candlelight and impeccable service. We can't wait to go back.
