We tried Schmackary’s cookies while visiting friends who absolutely raved about them and generously shared some with us. I had high expectations going in, but honestly, I’ve had better cookies. That said, it’s very possible this was because the cookies were a day old.
They were a bit hard and didn’t have that fresh baked softness I usually love. It made me realize these are probably best enjoyed fresh in the store, which surprised me a bit since they also ship nationwide. With that in mind, I can see how they would be much better right after they’re baked.
I’d be open to trying them again next time I’m in New York City, or San Diego since that location would be closer for me, to see how they compare when they’re fresh.

Walked into Schmackary’s fresh out the divorce office on the verge of tears!
I just wanted a cookie and a corner to emotionally reboot. Instead, I got Molly, who single-handedly flipped my day like the lawyer did at the end!
Me: “I’ve had the worst day, just give me whatever cookie fixes lives.” Molly, without hesitation: “Trauma or drama?” Me: “…both.” Molly: “Say less.” hands me cookie
One bite later, I forgot why I was upset and started believing in happiness again. 5/5 stars, Molly is now my emotional support bakery employee. 🍪💫
Schmackary’s, if you’re reading this: • Give Molly a raise • Give Molly a crown • Rename something on the menu “The Molly” immediately
She might have just saved my life and many others I'm sure!

Pretty mediocre considering a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie was 11 dollars…many better places for the price.
The Oreo cookie wasn’t my favorite. Very very sweet yet bland. Don’t recommend

I walk bye this place nearly every day and the staff is incredibly nice. Even new employees like Allie stand out with a nice smile and friendly vibe. The cookies outshine all other sweets. Perfect with a latte. My birthday is around the corner and all I want is a pumpkin vegan option:). Love ya guys thanks for starting and ending my day with a positive smile!

This cookie joint was recommended on Instagram. I had the peanut butter cup which was ok (not gooey like the other), and the monkey business which was delicious!
