The location and atmosphere are great. The service is OK. Not all dishes were served at the same time. Lack of serving staff's experience is obvious. For this type of establishment (pricewise), they should definitely try better. The food quality is less than OK. Does not justify the price for sure. Unreasonably expensive wine, i.e., $24 per glass. We were a party of four. Three of us felt nauseous after the dinner. Not sure if the seafood was fresh. For this type of an establishment, deserts are expected to be fantastic. Instead, they had a boring carrot cake and a red velvet cake, probably purchase from a NYC supermarket. Overall, the dinner trip was an experience of a waste of time and money.

Very disappointed - when you walk in they invest all this money into the look and pictures of the dishes. But if you are a real foodie this place was unorganized, unprofessional - intolerable and condescending to the same people they are serving “which is ridiculous”. When you come here you are expected to PAY - so I would expect a 5 star hospitality rate with more wait staff and support staff. The hostess was very lovely and helpful, the bald manager however was very condescending & fake nice in his approach. Told the wait staff almost at the terminal directly in front of me and my wife to check our id’s “nothing wrong with that”. But the way that it was done was so rude and literally had 5 wait staff infront of me staring at me whilst he must’ve said something to the host because she looked so worried. Ruined the whole meal off to the start, they removed our wine glasses from the table yet no one around us - to make up for the uncomfortable feeling in the beginning dropped drinks off that we didn’t even like? When in the first place we described what we were looking for in terms of wine/cocktails. Then appetizers came - it was alright and then entrees took 45 minutes UNTIL I had to ask a manager. He then told me that a salmon of less than 6 ounces would take 45 MINUTES to be cooked which is extremely ridiculous seeing as I am obviously involved in restaurants. I rarely leave reviews but oh my god if there was one thing to rate this place it’s beauty and the beast. The beauty being the look and the taste being everything else.

Among the best restaurants in New York. The duck was tremendous. The experience was made all that better with Paco, a professional waiter who knows what customer service is all about. 5 stars.

Long time fan of Lure and sister restaurants so thought I come and try.

Ambiance not bad but no match for Lure. Just feels a tad too bright here. Extremely busy since it just opened so I may let hype die down a bit before next visit. Came opening time but bar is packed half hour later.

They got some new dish additions so somewhat different from Lure. Lure has more variety.

West coast oysters always good and rare so started out with it. Octopus not bad and plentiful.

I ordered lobster cavatelli but I got my pasta mixed up and thought it wud be capellini, oh well. Lobster definitely go better with noodles but this is not bad. Just don’t expect half a lobster lol. I thought just maybe but price too good to be true for half lobster. Another place serves amazing lobster capellini with half lobster but just way too expensive.

I like the food in general. Fresh and light fish cooked in an elegant way. I have enjoyed soo much toast with lobster, salad and salmon. Even the dessert was good. Wine list quite good but too expensive. The service and the location was excellent. Try it!

There are many reasons to try and get a reservation at Seahorse restaurant, the new blazing star of NYC dining in Union Square. The astonishing Crudo and raw bar selection, delicious oysters and brioche lobster toasts. The delectable selection of fishes, a table side carving of Dover Sole, and a beautiful cocktail selection of original takes on classic cocktails. But also, Paco as your server. Professionalism, charm, and real personality. Made us laugh all night long and feel truly seen. This is a lost art in the world of waiting tables. We will be back very soon. What a phenomenal dining experience!!!

The food was disappointing. The oysters were not fresh, the fries were mostly small broken pieces, the pasta was bland, and the swordfish didn’t taste good either. Also, when our wine was finished, no one came to refill or check on us.

Very pleasant experience. All the dishes were solid, nothing amazing but nothing to complain about either. Very well executed, great service, great plating, good flavor.

Excellent seafood restaurant from the team behind Lure Fishbar in SoHo.

The dining room is beautiful and spacious, and a generous size front bar.

The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, we were greeted by everyone.

Drinks were fantastic, great wine options and of course martinis.

The food menu has many options and reasonable prices for the area, if you want several starters, opt for the seafood tower, a bit of everything and beautifully presented. For our mains, we had the spicy lobster cavatelli and NY strip, both were delicious and generous portions.

And please save room for dessert, all cakes are freshly baked in house (nut free). The carrot cake and strawberry shortcake were excellent.

Great addition to Park Avenue South dining scene.
