The atmosphere was really chill and like an Irish Bar/Restaurant should be. I had Calamari and Shepherds Pie and they both were amazing.
Visited Sean's Bar & Kitchen twice during my recent trip to NYC.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was great (typical bar like).
The food was great tried the 'bangers & mash' and the 48th Street Bone-In Ribeye. The steak is the reason we went back a second time đ
Loved the place and will visit during our next trip to NYC.

I'm shocked a salad can be this delicious. The Ceasar salad is highly recommended by me! I would definitely take a ride across the bridge to have another.

We took our family of 12 to lunch prior to a show. The location of Sean's Bar is unbeatable. Our table was near the window, and the food choices catered to all ages in our party. The drink choices are spot on as well. Our waitress was friendly and food came out quickly. I highly recommend Sean's Bar!
Lovely food, friendly staff, decent menu choice! We had dinner and several breakfasts here
Overall a very good experience. Good was good and plentiful. Service was a good mix of attentive yet not obtrusive. It is a bar so noise level was as expected.
We had our family Thanksgiving dinner there and they were great. The place was full, but the hostess was all over it. They had us in the bar area, then she asked if we would like move to a lower table. Of course we obliged and she had us moved in abt 10m. Can't say enough good about our experience - enjoy!
Food and service were above expectations. At 4:30 on a Wednesday, the place was crowded and a bit loud, but well worth a return visit.
We were shuffled to Riley's when they couldn't accommodate my reservation. At Riley's, they tried to seat us, a party of 3, at a table for 2 with an extra chair. After we refused we ended up shuffling tables a couple of times to find one that was not in the path of draft from the front door. Service was basically non-extistent; they forgot about us after they took our order and served us. The only reason we got our check was because they realized they needed to seat a party at our table.
Restaurantji Recommends
We went there for lunch. Burgers, fries, pizza and beer - everything was delicious.
As a German, I can recommend the Irish Red beer.
The service team was very kind and friendly.

Second visit here. This time at 1100 am Saturday in late October. Very quiet, almost empty. Starting filling up at noon. First time we came around Christmas, it was packed and reservations would be recommended. Excellent food and service, just like the first time. Great location to have lunch before a matinee show or visit Rockefeller Center.
Came here for drinks last time we were in the city, sat at the bar and had no complaints. This time we came to eat after a show, and had a less-than-stellar experience. We ordered the chicken tenders for $16, and it was only four small ones that didnât taste much different from ones youâd get at the grocery store freezer section.
The real issue with our visit however was the service. We finished our first round of drinks in about 10 minutes, and then didnât see our waiter for a full half-hour after, despite my trying to flag him down and saying âexcuse meâ twice as he passed after helping the table next to us. Another waitress finally walked by and saw our looking around and asked if we needed anything, so I do appreciate her for that.
Maybe this was a one-off experience, caught the waiter on an off day, but $16 for four tenders, partnered with poor service, was enough for me to feel like writing a review.
