Great food. Impeccable service. On the pricier end but not out of the ordinary for what you'd expect to pay in this area. However, well worth it. We had the bucatini and the 16 oz steak. Steak was surprisingly cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection which is not what I've come to expect from Italian restaurants. Pasta was amazing. Smashed potatoes were perfect. And the homemade focaccia was airy and warm. I was genuinely impressed with this place. Service was also always on top of you without being overbearing. We were thanked for coming in about 5 times on our way out, even by the busboy. Signs of a well-run restaurant.

Finally tried this much loved spot and was not disappointed. The food was incredible and our experience was made even better by our server Connor. Will definitely be going back and definitely asking for Connor!

One of the best dining experiences I've had in New York City in a long time. They know what they're doing. Service was top-notch and the food was exceptional. Never a big fan of vegetable side dishes, but the mushrooms and butternut squash that we had. I'm still salivating for.

Expensive and not tasty!! The olives are sour, the stracciatella is terrible, the salad is oversalted, the steak is very expensive!

I highly recommend Sempri Oggi. The GM is very hands reflected by a welcoming staff and a kitchen that knows how to cook. It is one of the best restaurants on the Upper West Side and look forward to our next visit.

I had a delicious New Year's Day dinner at Sempre Oggi. I started with the Mixed Lettuces with walnuts etc salad (my favorite), which was followed by the olive oil poached halibut, which is superb (and healthy!). I had a glass of the Nero D'Avola followed by the CA Pinot Noir. Both great wines, with a slight preference for the former. Being on a diet I skipped dessert. My server Matt even though very busy took good care of me. It's always a treat coming to Sempre Oggi and I can't wait to return!
