Dinner with a large-ish party (7ppl) on a Sat night - excellent overall. Terrific waiter (charming Serbian fellow), delicious food, warm buzzy ambience, great FOH staff too. Good cocktails; to start loved Patrick’s Focaccia, the 24 mo. Prosciutto di Parma, fritto misto, fluke crudo and escarole salad; for mains, all the pastas were great as were the heritage chicken, the swordfish and the porchetta. Great experience, will def return.
The food and ambiance are both exceptional. The restaurant's energy radiates cozy chic with notes of warmth and winsome furnishings, notably the upholstered chairs that neither bother the lower back nor hinder the hindquarters, ya feel? Loved everything about this restaurant! Fantastic, attentive service coupled with high quality food. I was with a group of 6, in a rush, and they got all our plates out very quickly. I recommend the veal.
