Sen Sakana in Manhattan is an incredible Kosher Japanese restaurant that really impressed me. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared - every dish feels authentic while still being unique. The staff is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere has a modern, inviting vibe that makes the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find top-quality Japanese food that’s also kosher, and Sen Sakana absolutely delivers. Easily one of the best kosher dining spots in New York City!

I had a very disappointing experience at Sen Sakana. The managers were overly intrusive at our table, and the main manager was quite rude. The sushi is not fresh how they said.

David and Temba gave us an amazing experience.
Their recommendations for the best drinks and food were spot on.
Without a doubt, this is the best place to enjoy with friends.

The service was excellent and very friendly.

Thank you so much!

The dishes taste great, the staff acts professionally, and the prices make regular visits possible. This level of attention stands out in today's world. Meals avoid heaviness and excess salt while offering good texture and creative touches. The restaurant exceeds what words can express. This spot differs from standard places!

We are here 2 years ago before a show and loved it. It was a burst of great food and so fresh. Decided to revisit for dinner tonight. It was terrible, cocktail had to be made 3 separate times to finally get it correct. Wontons were mheeee, shishito’s were warm and not cooked enough. Tried to get sushi wrapped in cucumber instead of rice, couldn’t accommodate. I’ve had fresher sushi made at a gas station. Very disappointed, overpriced and $280. later so not worth the dinner nor experience. I do not recommend.

Finding an authentic Japanese and Peruvian restaurant that's also kosher is a real treasure. Love the atmosphere and the vibes. The food is fresh, clean, and packed with flavor. Will definitely come again.

Exceptional food, a great mix of Japanese cuisine sophistication and bolder flavors of Peruvian. From appetizers like cucumber and fish cakes to sushi and mains like Dina’s noodles and sea bar over asparagus risotto, food tasted great. One thing to improve a bit is atmosphere which while focused on good felt like something was missing, someone to connect the food and the ambient and tell the story better then just red lights and hotel restaurant style tables.

Having just experienced what might be the best sushi of my life, my previous number one, Taiko in Dubai, has officially been dethroned. The new reigning champion? Sen Sakana in New York.

From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured our dining experience was seamless. The good vibes extended to the bar as well, with an excellent selection of delicious cocktails that perfectly complemented the meal.

While every dish we tried was fantastic, a few truly stood out. The avocado was unbelievably creamy—the most luscious my children and I have ever tasted. The croquettes were phenomenal, perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully flavorful within. But the absolute showstopper had to be the tuna and salmon taco. It was an insane explosion of flavor that I won't soon forget.

Sen Sakana isn't just a meal; it's an experience that sets a new benchmark for exceptional sushi. If you're in New York, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed!

Man $57 for a bowl of chirashi? A roll is still $25. Still made me go for it thinking fish might be the highest quality. But no it wasn’t.

Treated the family to delicious Japanese kosher meat dinner. The chimchurri beef skewers, short ribs and eggplant were our favorites. Nice clean bathrooms, a rarity for kosher restaurants. Music was a bit too loud.
