They never disappoint. Food is both beautiful and delicious. The team there is professional and friendly and always make you feel at home and appreciated. It's our favorite sushi restaurant.

We love coming to Senya. Senya bowl of sashimi and wagyu never disappoints. Beef sukiyaki hits the spot on a cold winter night. Shrimp tempura and shishito pepper apps are delish. Saki and beer selection is good. We will be back soon.

This restaurant left me rather unimpressed. The food was quite ordinary and tended to be on the salty side. The sashimi didn't strike me as particularly fresh, and the hurried service, with the main course arriving before we finished our appetizers, was a bit off-putting. Their $60 set menu failed to impress, lacking in value for money. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

Went in for the NYC restaurant week. Good experience overall. Food is great. Bone marrow just melts in your mouth. Uni is fresh and umami. Ramen is super rich. The assorted sashimi is a bigger plate than I expected. The duck has a slight gamey taste. Some people may like it, but I’m not a big fan. Also the cocktail is average, although I probably should have gone with the sake.

Hole in the wall, hard to locate even in front of the restaurant. The ambience is elegant but not fancy at all. But the search and unusual digs are well worth the effort, with super creative offerings of sushi and sashimi, novel ingredients and mixtures. Extensive saki offerings and well described. Even beers were unusual and well worth exploring. I would unconditionally recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

A small, intimate, and cozy restaurant with delicious food. We were able to snag a reservation for 2 at 8:15pm on a Friday. It was pretty quite inside considering how packed it was. Chirashi Box - every single element in this box was DELICIOUS. My favorites were the truffle salmon and the shrimp with roe. The sashimi seriously melts in your mouth.Snow Crab Mazeman - WOW. A generous portion of the most creamy, umami noodles with fatty and flavorful bone marrow on the side. SO SO GOOD.

We tried Senya for the restaurant week. Everything on the menu is pretty good. The food quality, the food demonstration are all in high end. For the $60/ person during restaurant week, definitely worth the value.

Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for restaurant week. The fixed price is $60 which is worth it for the food you get. I ordered the Uni scramble egg with caviar, chirashi box, and green tea ice cream. My friend got the Truffle Filet Mignon, Uni truffle bone marrow and Yuzu cheesecake. I had tried to change the reservation a few days prior but they declined. I can see why as the place is pretty small and cozy. The food came out quick and we were out of there in less than an hour.

Quick note, SenYa box is in a bowl, and the chirashi is in a box. Came during their restaurant week, $60 for three course meal. The noodle with bone marrow was the best out of all. For desserts, I recommend the yuzu cheesecake.

Ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. We had the foie gras and black cod starters; sushi and chirashi for the entree and ice cream for dessert. Meal was excellent; both presentation and taste.

A very enjoyable dining experience, the servers were super friendly and helpful. The uni scrambled egg with truffle & caviar truly amazed me with the rich flavors, the sweet miso ties everything together. Strongly recommend trying that, it is AMAZING.I really wanted to love the snow crab mazemen with bone marrow but it is way too heavy for my taste. The sauce was a bit greasy, a bit too sweet and the bone marrow on top of that is just too much, but if a super thick Alfredo sauce is your pick then you'd definitely love this! I would love to try the chirashi one day...The Foie Gras Sushi is alright, a bit too salty after its marination in miso and has a bit of a strong cooking wine taste. The texture was smooth and nice though. The matcha ice cream was the cherry on top, didn't expect it be this great... can't exactly tell why it just tasted extra awesome lol.Would really recommend to anyone who'd like a very cozy dining experience!
