It's a great place to have tteokbokki or green onion pancakes and a glass of soju. Seo Chan Korean restaurant delivers an authentic dining experience, especially with their flavorful kimchi fried rice. The quality ingredients shine through, making each bite a delightful explosion of taste. Never thought mozzarella would belong with fried rice. Was so good. From the tangy kimchi to the perfectly cooked rice, every aspect of the dish is executed with precision. Whether you're a kimchi enthusiast or new to Korean cuisine, this dish at Seo Chan is a must-try.

I have been here twice now - back in December a week before new years in 2023 and recently in January 2024. The first time I was here, I had just wanted to kill some time. I had no idea this place was fusing Mexican and Korean cuisines though. What a pleasant surprise. I have visited Japan and other countries in that region but I have not been to the SK yet. This might be a way to cheat a little (with a Salsa of a twist). Try the Tacos!!The mixture of sweet bulgogi used in their tacos is simply awesome!! I also like the fact that I can just come here for soju!! ?Awesome addition to this neighborhood proving again that West Villagers are basically spoiled for choice.

We got the Osam Bulgogi and Tteokbokki. Very home-made taste, not too sweet or greasy, just right. Also got the soju martini, it was perfect. Owner and staff are too nice. Will be there again soon. 6 stars.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Korean restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the delicious Korean chicken. It was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful meat on the inside. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness that left me craving for more.To complement the meal, I ordered a refreshing Soju drink, and it was the perfect choice. The Soju was served chilled, and it paired wonderfully with the spicy chicken. It added a delightful Korean twist to my dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the staff was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of that fantastic chicken and Soju!If you’re a fan of Korean cuisine, especially chicken dishes and Soju, this restaurant is a must-visit. I highly recommend it!

I had dinner here. Tried the bulgogi with pork and squid and also the one with beef. The beef one was a 7/10, new flavors that I never tasted. The one with squid a 3/10, it didn’t taste fresh. The service is amazing, you really see that they want the best for their customers. Spoke with the owner who mentioned that they just started a couple of months ago. I think this restaurant has a good chance of succeeding but the freshness and quality of the ingredients need improvement to survive in a city like NY.

I decided to try the Bulgogi at this Korean restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and marinated to perfection, making each bite a flavor explosion. To accompany my meal, I opted for the Soju Martini, a unique twist on a classic drink that added a delightful touch to my dining experience. Highly recommended for those looking for top-notch Korean cuisine with a creative twist!
