We love this neighborhood spot for brunch, dinner or happy hour. We even celebrated our son’s first birthday here. Definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood.

It's called a wine bar, but it definitely has more cafe vibes. The wine list was just not that extensive. There was a one-page menu for food / lighter bites. For being empty, service was definitely a bit slow and they got my order wrong at first, but they cheerfully corrected it. Great place to come and languish a little bit and have a nice chat with your friend, but definitely avoid if you're in any kind of rush. Seemed family friendly.

Serena’s is one of my favorite NYC restaurants for its food, drinks & ambience! We go there for special occasions-bdays or to bring our out-of-town friends! We are never disappointed & always leave full & happy with everything. I always recommend it to my friends & co-workers.

We wanted to come to Serena because we live nearby and always pass it. It’s usually crowded the decor looked chic.Service was not bad but took a lot of flagging the waiters down to get anything. The food however was very average. The burrata was hard and the inside tasted like cream cheese rather than stracciatella. The bread was also cold.The pastas were below average. We got the Arrabbiata and Alla Vodka. They were seasoned well and spicy but we probably could make a better pasta at home with store bought sauces.The wine collection wasn’t that extensive either given it is a wine bar.Overall, it was not bad, just very average. There’s so many great wine bars and italian restaurants in NYC so we are not sure we would be back.
Right next door to my all-time neighborhood favorite (Mediterraneo) is not an easy place for my book.. bias aside, I finally tried Serena’s and was pleasantly surprised. A very low key yet chic atmosphere, accompanied by a live guitarist and tasty food. Dining alone, I sat at the bar. Was served a delicious martini, and the prosciutto flatbread was fresh, light and very tasty. An incredible pick for anyone looking for a local first date spot!!

My first visit at Serena's was GREAT! If you are looking for a quiet, cozy place away from the city mess you mist visit Serena's. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile! I sat at the bar and the bartender was GREAT! He recommended I try a rose and it was perfect also the pasta was the best! If you are looking for a friendly place with good food and service this is the place! I even met the owner that went to all the tables greeting the customers! Definitely will return!
