Best local mexican takeout in Inwood! Great people, amazing tamales. I'll be honest, It's a bit expensive considering what you are getting, however, its worth the price supporting this small business. Highly recommend. Family favorite.

Perhaps the best Mexican food in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, orders are served on disposable plates and cutlery, which is not only highly polluting, but also unpleasant and unsightly,

I work in the neighborhood and decided to eat here for dinner. I ordered a burrito. The food is fresh and the flavor is pleasing. The staff is friendly. I will definitely order again.

I’ve been here a few times, and only a few because it is pricey. Some of the foods I’ve had have been hit or miss. The one I’ve been enjoying the most recently is the Burrito de Mole Rojo. If sweet mole is your thing, you’ll love this one. The tamales de mole are hit or miss- sometimes they’re soft and moist, other times they’ve been a little on the harder side and not as moist and soft as tamales tend to be. They’re also pretty expensive and small for $4 something, which is why it’s the most convenient to get them on Sundays when they have a special deal on them. I’ve had their torta as well, it was yummy, big, and very filling. The ingredients do feel fresh which accounts for the price, but still, it’s a little steep price wise compared to other mexican restaurants in the area.

I love their food and their service is incredible. Everything is fresh. You need to try their tamales, quesadillas, homemade corn tortillas

I went in to try their “ Wednesday special” which was a quesadilla. It was $22 for a special which was only a chicken quesadilla and lime agua Fresca. Chicken was NOT fully cooked. The agua Fresca was water and sugar! Too expensive and the quality was horrible.

Food is so good, really like the fish and shrimp tacos. Service is good as well. Place is small and outside seating is so so for me.

First time eating Mexican in Inwood.

We took guacamole, ceviche, birria tacos and fish tacos.

Sooooo good.

Super fresh, super tasty, friendly staff and very cute outdoor seating.

But be aware that there is no table service: you order and pay at the counter and they call out your order once it is ready.

Would recommend!

Love the food at this place- tacos/burritos/tostadas are all delicious. Rice and beans are also really good. I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience with the food or the customer service. Highly recommended.
(also they have a cute little patio to sit at on the sidewalk- only a few seats inside- this is mainly a pick up at the counter place)

Burrito is small and mostly made of left over rice. Hurt my stomach.
one small spoon, not scoop, a SPOON of guacamole. Literally two bites of meat per half of burrito all rice with mixed tiny beans. tomatoes and lettuce are a garnish with these people Beans are natural and good. That is wrong and not right not worth the $18 price if you pay cash? Just be upfront with your customers.
Update. The quesadilla the last time I got it was almost big enough to fill a plate two weeks later order the same quesadilla and this is what I get. It’s not even funny how expensive this is and how bad you get ripped off. I’m over these people
