Probably under new ownership they’ve changed quite a lot of things. The service was adequate. The food was horrible. The fried calamari was like toasted cardboard, and the Cacho Pepe was terrible. Fortunately, the wine was very good and the company was superb.

First off: Service was excellent. No hurry but they are able to sense when you need something. Food was mixed. I liked my veal but my wife thought her pasta (Sette Mezzo) was meh. And with the high prices, it seemed that it should be memorable.

One of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan. The pasta with fresh shaved white truffles is bliss. And they have a wonderful offering of fresh vegetable dishes. Impeccable service, too.
