The best chocolate chip cookie in NYC! Love that they have a vegan option - @findingvegannyc on Instagram :)
Living in NYC I am not above spending a lot of money on a frivolous treat. But when I do spend that money I expect it to at least be excellent.
So is not the case for Seven Grams. I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie (almost $7!) and received a cake-y, plain flavored cookie with a dry exterior. No crisp on the outside, no chew on the inside. Really unsatisfying overall.
Add to this, the interior of the store is showing its age. Signage is worn and things are a little messy. I probably won't be back.
Honestly, it was a great experience overall. That said, I was a bit let down—I asked for an extra shot of matcha, but it seems that shot never made it into my cup. 💔.

Too expensive, 15$ for a coffee and cookie that were nothing out of the ordinary…
Great coffee, even better croissants. Online order ahead option is awesome for when in a rush!
Seven Grams makes my favorite chocolate chip cookie in the world. I get them ALL the time. However, the one I got at *this* location was raw batter in the middle. So gross. Unfortunately I was back home by the time I bit into it, otherwise I would have returned it. Won’t be back to this location again. :(
If you want BOTH a coffee and a snack, that’ll be over $12. The cookies looked great but it’s hard to want to pay over $6 for one when you’ve already paid $6 for a small cold brew.
Small storefront location. Excellent macchiato, very enjoyable crispy and moist vegan blueberry scone (other bakery selections looked good to me especially the cookies). Cramped seating (but just enough). Service was ok but impersonal (a smile or cheery greeting would have helped)

$6.51 for a scolding hot cappuccino. Another example of the mediocrity that is the cafes in nyc. I don’t know if it’s the lack of training or the lack of care. I understand this level of product at a Starbucks or Gregory’s but this is the case that maybe a machine should take over and automate this. Especially if the final product is this bad. Cost only keeps rising but product seems to constantly lack. I want to support cafes and baristas but this makes it so hard. Coffee isn’t hard to make well. It’s not. Just care more and train better.
