This place hasn’t change, and that’s to the good. I’ve been eating here,on and off for over 40 years. The food is always good. The owner, who has been here for close to 50 years recognized me and came over to say hello. He’s part of the charm of this consistently good restaurant

They made us wait for 20 minutes even when we have a reservation. Seats are super crowded, seafood is not fresh. We found sand in scallops and mussels. 3 out of 5 people got food poisoning after our dinner. Please avoid this place at all costs!

mediocre spanish food that was not as good as i hoped. The waiters were not very attentive and only focused on the white customers more than the people of colour. Was not asked once how my food was. Only at the end when i asked for the bill did they come quickly to take payment.. the food itself was not good quality and the seafood is bad. Would not recommend.

Ordered the pork filet but it wasn't filet at all and the menu said it almond sauce but it came with thin flavorless gravy. Have eaten here several times but always disappointed. I only go because my friends love the damn place. First time there I ordered garlic soup but it was like dish water with a clove of raw garlic floating in it and a thin slice of baguette on top. Awful stuff. I have been lucky to have eaten in Spain a few times and any real Spanish person would be very sad here.

Old world charm at this family owned restaurant. Owner greeted us upon arrival. We had the grilled calamari and octopus appetizers. Both very tender, esp the octopus. We ordered 3 more entrees. All shared between the 4 of us. Our entrees are Paella Valenciana, Shrimp with parsley and olive oil, and Veal Sevilla. Everything was fantastic and tasty. House salad was complimentary.

We were very excited to try out this restaurant… However, we were shocked by the hidden fees that they charged us. They added $10 to our bill for something we did NOT order and adamantly refused to remove the unexpected charge. Moreover, when we spoke to the manager, he was incredibly RUDE and sexist! He yelled at us and snatched the receipt out of my hand. We were shocked by this mistreatment! Never coming back here again. Terrible service. Still disgusted by his behavior. (P.s. the lobster had no meat inside…)

Still the best Spanish in town, still the best Iberian atmosphere by a long shot, still cheaper than a flight to Spain, but not by as much as it used to be. At those prices, it's for special occasions. I pray they can sustain their business.

Such a charming place, we were walking past and saw that the place was full. Immediately realized that the food must be nice!
We just wanted a drink & a snack as we were bar hopping, the croquetas were so good! Made of cod fish with some tartar sauce on the side. Yum!

Food is reasonable although overpriced. The cuisine may have been Spanish in the past, but right now is a stretch to call it so. I am a Spaniard I know what I am talking about.
