FABULOUS evening. From beginning to end each of the four of us were in culinary heaven. I need to stop ordering the pappardelle and the brick chicken and try other dishes but how do you turn away from the sublime? Perfect ending—-the fruit tort! I'm always looking forward to my return!

Great food-but EXPENSIVE- the wine list is equally pricey, so this is really an upscale neighborhood joint- but the food is top notch-never had a bad meal there. The staff can be a little stiff, but our server last night-Tito-was great- good banter and attentive- we will definitely be back, just not too often-

Server was very polite. Food was on the pricier end (one pork chop was 50 bucks) and the slanted table caused water to drip on me.

The ambiance is quiet and friendly. The service is excellent and very attentive but not intrusive. Their pasta is out of this world and the branzino with white bean sauce was superb. We will be back!

I went here with my boyfriend for what we were hoping to be a delicious Italian meal. We made an 8 o'clock reservation on a Thursday and they didn't seat us until 8:20 which was a little ridiculous. The food was just subpar. If I'm ordering a $40 pasta, I expect it to blow me away. It did not. I got the Bolognese. It was fine. The pasta was way overcooked and the taste was just meh. The meat was burned. My boyfriend got a pasta with a bunch of veggies and some sort of a broth? Probably a weird thing for him to order, but regardless it was not very good. He started with soup which was just okay. I started with the side salad because the other salads weren't really speaking to me. I thought the salad was quite good. They started off the meal with bread which was not salted and olive oil, but no salt on the table. Salt would have improved that experience. We both got the Barolo to drink, which was tasty. I've never written a restaurant review, but I'm hoping that this helps other people. I read through the yelp reviews and they were very very mixed which made me decide to go here. I'm glad that I went because now I know that I don't have to go back.

Food is excellent, and portion sizes are pretty large for an NYC establishment. Great cocktail menu and prompt service.

Lovely service and great food always. My only complaint is noise level. Makes conversation difficult.

Charming, good services, excellent wine list. Food was a bit pricey for what it was, but well prepared, quite tasty, and nice presentation. With a couple of exceptions, the starter's menu seemed a bit cliche, but entrees made up for it. Pricey, even the non-alcoholic drinks were $14 plus, but overall it was very good.

Service top notch, food was good but not quite what it use to be. Still we loved it but the bread wasn't as good neither was the bolognese but again still top tier.

Wonderful experience and food was very delicious! We loved every bite. A bit noisy for our taste, but after the rush the sound seemed to calm down a level. Otherwise, it was enjoyable and highly recommend!

It was the first time I've been to Sfoglia. Loved this restaurant! I will definitely be coming back. The food was amazing – I enjoyed the Caesar salad followed papardelle bolognese and finished with the Apple torta. Everything was authentic and fabulous.
