We had a great experience and happened to be there for their 3 day "Meat Party" and had the Waygu tasting. Definitely recommend at the lower price point! Service was great although the staff did not always understand our questions.
Food was ok but really disappointed with the service. Forgot a lot of the items we ordered and was super slow. For the price of the meal you would expect better, especially with how small the portions are

The sukiyaki was fantastic and the quality of ingredients along with the incredible service really stood out. The details were impeccable including traditional departure gesture of a deep bow as you leave. Highly recommend for anyone looking for shabu or sukiyaki

Service was great, our waitress was very sweet. Ambiance was also pretty. Food I guess above average quality.
The only thing is, I understand inflation and how more expensive Newyork nowadays is. But $135 for a tiny set which only includes: two small bite of forgot what that is, one slice of sushi, udon, one ice cream, and 6 slices of beef — doesn’t sound right to me 🤣🤣.
The portion is SO TINY that even we as a girl still didn’t feel full. 🤣🤣. We thought we couldn’t finish 1 set per person as 2 girls, so we shared 1 set and a seafood platter addon $60. The seafood platter was okay. With tips and tax and alcohol ($50) we ended up paying $150-160 per person without feeling full. And then woke up in the middle of the night feeling hungry lol
It’s good to try one time but I won’t come back the second time purely based on the price it asks for LOL. Other Shabushabu is more worth it.

This place is so cute. I randomly stopped in for a drink while I waited to meet my friend.
Was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the interior is.
Sake was so light and perfect and the Japanese wagyu sushi left me wanting more. Service was great and the way gave me complimentary mochi icecream.
I’ll def return in the near future to have a proper meal.

This was a lovely experience!! Plateware was beautifully presented for our multi course Japanese Wagyu Shabu Shabu that comes with 3 appetizers and a lovely Matcha Affogato desert. We had a fun time with cooking our own meats and veggies in the traditional broth. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this experience for a special night out!
