At first glance, the environment is a high class Japanese themed restaurant, the workers there might not be Japanese, but provide an authentic and delicious meal. Their kindness and hospitality really made this experience enjoyable. What a great find!! We got a reservation just a couple hrs prior on a Sat night! We ordered the American wagyu beef meal each. It came with fantastic and beautiful appetizers, an extra app from the chef, a great portion of high quality veggies and the meat and sauces were phenomenal! ShabuShabu GEN was a great experience all around! The ambiance was cozy, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was next level delicious. Sanjida and Ivy were wonderful as they guided us through how to cook and enjoy the meal. ShabuShabu GEN is admittedly a little pricey but it's worth every penny! Don't skip the Japanese wagyu!
