Great location! It gets pretty busy so order ahead on the app. Be sure to locate your food on your own though (they have an area with app orders) to pick up your food- I never got a confirmation text and my food wasn’t as warm as I’d liked it to be. Otherwise tasty !Ps not wheelchair friendly… lots of stairs

Greasiest burger and the best for tourists who need fuel to burn in winter or summer walks and get your 10k steps in with their not so boring menu of burgers with seasonal flavor design like that Korean BBQ burger I got . It'll last you 5 hours at the Met walking for sure .

Submitted the receipt so the manager of this store can check the Lady who made my order, and address this matter. She is Racial PROFILING CUSTOMERS, and DISCRIMINATING —In the afternoon I was in the park with my little nephew and mother. He was crying and I needed to buy him something sweet, and I loved shake shack cocoa. They stayed sitting in the open-space. I am not a customer who buy shake shack regularly neither visit this store. But i have to say that Just had a bad experience. I am Italian and my acent is very heavy. I wanted 3 burguer with Chicken, and I asked if they do it, because I do not want to give my nephew RED MEAT. The lady said some name of the burguer and I said, I regularly do not buy shake shack do I dont know the name of the burguer but I want a chicken burguer with 1 cheese fries. I was very specific, and I was thinking about what she said, and She Ask "Do you Speak SPanish", and I said I speak English and You understand What I am Saying, I am just confused wwhat u Saying instead saying yes or NO do you guys do Chicken Burguer. Oh she looked Uncomfortable, after that rushed me, and I wanted her to read my order to make SURE SHE got it right. She mentioned the order correctly And I tought thaat shakeburguer is chicken, and I received 3 red meat burguers. Because my family was hungry they just ate the burguer and threw the meat in the trash, i am not going to do a drama. I wonder, Why She Is questioning someone's language when you are clearly understanding, but because the person is confused and needs u to explain what u got on the menu, that DOES NOT MEAN I do not speak the same Language, because I'm light skin heavy acent that does not MEAN I belong to certain Country or I speak different language. This js definetly Racial Profiling and Discrimination against Tourists Customers who is Trying for the first or second time The food of this restaurant. Her customer service SUCKS.

Like this place a lot. Though slightly expensive sometimes I resort to their cheese fries which I love more than their cheeseburgers. However, this location is conveniently located in my top #1 favorite areas of all time....East 86th Street. You can never go wrong shopping in this area only because it's free of crowds, traffic, and of course it's frequented more by working women. With the likes of Victoria Secret's, H&M, Bolton's, Ulta, Sephora, Fox's, Athleta, and some small shoe boutiques, you can almost guess why it is. At the end of the day or maybe the beginning, you can always find Shake Shack and relax with a good cheeseburger and cheese fries.*************UPDATE*****************This location was extremely busy and packed. You have a long line that extends up the stairs and to the exit door, delivery workers at the counter and also waiting at the door to pick up their deliveries, and no inside tables available. Also, keep in mind that when you pay at the register, please add a tip because if you don't add a tip (like myself), it'll take extra, extra long before you get your food.

The man running the pick up orders, is running the Shake Shack like a maximum security prison. He was laughing in customers faces, and he rudely demanded I get up from my seat in front of the window. He immediately demanded I give him my phone number, and when I messed up the last digit because I have a memory disorder, he laughed in my face and said you cannot have your order then, Miss. (He gave me my order and was joking, but I felt insulted. The ambiance was just ok and my fries were cold.) -- Dr. McGee
