It took 20 minutes for my order and then there was a hair in it. They remade it quickly and it tasted really good

Highly recommended
The burgers were absolutely delicious – juicy meat, soft buns, and toppings that really make a difference. On top of the great atmosphere, what stood out the most was the staff: friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. They truly make you feel welcome. Definitely a place I’d come back to on my next visit to New York.

Got an order that was slightly wrong and didnt complain about it. Had leaf wrapping instead if buns. 10% of me eating that order the employee came up and told me “they had an order for me” and I was like okay weird because this one was for me. Then they pointed that the order I had was wrong and the one they had for me was mine. I had to decipher because they were not confident in telling me they made a mistake. They were alluding I picked up the wrong order of someone else. Once I deciphered this they told me they had to take the wrong order and trash it. Not allowing me to keep it. Saw them throw away the perfectly okay order which was forced out of me in front of my sight even though I had said I was okay with keeping it. They also did this infront of a group of friends I came with and everyone saw the terrible service. Who just wastes food like that and also has terrible service? Complained to Shake Shack corporate and got 15 dollars redeemable so thats cool

Bun literally had an ice cube still frozen to it when they gave it to me, about 15min after I ordered a basic chicken sandwich. Lettuce was wet, chicken was scalding, bun frozen - overall terrible, even by fast food standards. What a joke.

I noticed staff was present at 10:30pm the night a man's dead body was only a few feet away from their floor to ceiling windows since 5:30pm. Which means they had full frontal view of the body the whole night. They should've been able to go home with pay immediately. I welcome any comments from management explaining this.
Terrible costumer service. I was sitting at the register for 15 minutes waiting for somebody to take my cash order. I kept getting told they are busy so they couldn’t take my order. Somebody FINALLY comes to take my order and he had a whole attitude. Never coming here again. DO BETTER.

We loved the burgers and shakes. Nice option when we were in New York after walking the High Line and also in Boston Airport. They should put a disclaimer that their iced tea is not the regular sweet or lipton one, it's literally green tea with ice.

The milkshake was super decent. Tasted like an old fudgicle. Maybe they left the freezer door slightly open, or the ice cream was old? Idk, not impressed. Also the custard was a scoop and a half. Disappointing as well. Skip for a legitimately good ice cream shop milk shake instead.
