For $65 this is such a legit and high-quality omakase spot in NYC at an unbeatably affordable price! Both their $65 12-course option and $100 17-course option are super yummy and worth it, serving very good quality fish and other items. The seared A5 Wagyu and also King Salmon were two of my favorites in particular. It's traditional Omakase bar seating, so you get the intimate personalized dining experience, and the chefs are super friendly and talkative, willing to go in detail about the food origin and preparation process. Overall this was a 10/10 experience for me in NYC, especially for that unbeatable price!

Probably my favorite in the city at this time. Great price point, amazing quality, and you're actually full afterwards. I've been here twice and really enjoyed it both times. I've had all of their season specials and a few hand rolls. I'd rather get the upgraded omakase (or a second regular omakase!) than additional add ons.

Very very good, way better than what you expect. We are now regular customers there........

So glad I found this great omakase spot on my visit to New York! The atmosphere was lovely and service was attentive. Our sushi chef Jackie was fun and vibrant! We chose the 17 pieces for $100 and it was wonderful and super tasty.

This place was great! Went for my birthday (on a rainy Monday) and the food was something special. Great attention and taste

The food here is very tasty, to the taste of the public, and the Japanese cuisine is recommended. I will come back next time.

Restaurant consists of ~10 seats around the sushi counter (make deposit for reservation, you won't regret it)! Very intimate with chefs telling you about each piece. Single piece servings mouth sized so not struggling to bite in half, just single mouthful of goodness. The unique pairings of flavors in each piece, presentation, and timing between pieces all perfectly executed. Between pieces sipped on chilled green tea (preferred to hot) which was new to me and chewed on bit of ginger to cleanse my palate before each tasting. Glad I did! Chatted with couple next to me and glad to see and hear them enjoying as much as I was. The chefs took pride in their work and enjoyed the customers reactions. If they were in AZ, I would have sushi weekly! Thank you Shiki Omakase for adding to my NYC experience. Ganbatte!!

Amazing food experience. Went there for my wife's birthday (mentioned it in the message during reservation). We picked 17 pieces each, every single piece was perfect. My favorites were toro and the oyster, my wife loved the king salmon. The service staff were superb, the chefs were really skilled and professional. It is an hour long experience, that we did not want to end. At the end, they prepared a sashimi style dish for my wife, along with a birthday candle and the entire staff danced and sang happy birthday, which was amazing and very kind of them. The food was so good, we both did not want to eat anything afterwards! Definitely 6/5 stars, we will be back.

Was looking to celebrate a special occasion and try an Omakase. Had a reservation and was seated as soon as I walked in. The place is small but was not too cramped and had a cozy vibe. We did the 17 piece for $100 option. It was cool seeing the sushi chef prepare the pieces in front of us. He took his time to explain some of the pieces, and what kind of fish they were. Everything tasted fresh, my favorite piece was either the Toro or the king salmon

the Chirashi is amazing, also the hand rolls are to die for. if you are going to eat there ask for extra wasabi, the ones they have here are unique. i ate at many Japanese restaurants and you really have to try the wasabi in this one.

Definitely some of the freshest seafood I've had with a great deal. The chefs, servers, and service overall was immaculate, and the time and dedication they put into ensuring that each piece was perfect could be seen through their hard work. The pieces were amazing.

Went here with my partner as our first omakase and it was amazing great experience, definitely something we won't forget. All the food was pretty good, but got better as the dinner went on. Our favorites include the albacore tuna and the oyster which were particularly fresh that night. The service was friendly & warm and we felt comfortable going for our first omakase, and might even be back.

Did omakase here when I was visiting NY and it was really cool! We were sat with about 6 other people. The fish was good, but the uni quality here was really really good! The chef didn't really talk to us much, or was interactive but it was ok. It was a lot of people. The place is a bit small. Make sure you RSVP!

The best omakase in New York. Incredible experience every time. The freshest / best sushi and seafood I have ever had

Loved this place - it's just a long countertop serving great fresh sushi Has a minimalist and modern clean feel to it Service is great, very attentive and cordial I'll just stick to the omakase menu, the a la carte can add up pretty fast and though the mix of ingredients sounds interesting there was not any wow factor
