I was really surprised by the quality of the food. I started off with the thai tea which was sweet and the tea flavor was extremely prominent. It was off to a good start already. I ordered the colorful soup dumplings, spicy wontons and truffle shrimp shumai for appetizers. Everything came steamy hot and I loved every bite of it. The dumplings had juice, the wontons were coated in this amazing chili hot sauce, and the truffle shrimp was bursting with flavor. For our mains, we got the barbecue spare ribs which was plated super nicely and had a nice smoky flavor to it. I was most excited for the peking duck. It was crispy and went well with all the sides included. I really enjoyed the service and the employees were attentive to our needs. Overall, a pleasant experience and I can’t wait to go back!

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience here! The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. The highlight, of course, was the food. The dumplings and dim sum were phenomenal, especially the soup dumplings, which are a must try. Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and incredibly satisfying. Would recommend for either a casual dinner or an event with a large group of people.

I normally don’t review places but I honestly think this place deserves a visit!
I was thrown off by the name thinking it was just an overpriced dimsum place but was surprised at the generous portions of quality authentic Chinese food we got

We had such a great Chinese food, so delish! For dim sum we had chicken shumai, truffle shrimp shumai, lucky 4 soup dumpling. For appetizers we had barbecue spare ribs, mouth watering chicken. And for main dishes beef cubes with szechuan peppercorns, general tsos chicken and braised jumbo shrimp with teriyaki saunce. For drinks had cherry temple drinks.
If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food in NYC, I highly recommend Dim Sum Bloom! We had a fantastic family lunch there, and everything was absolutely delicious.
Must-try dim sum:
✔ Chicken Shumai
✔ Truffle Shrimp Shumai
✔ Lucky 4 Soup Dumpling
For appetizers, don’t miss:
✔ Barbecue Spare Ribs

Our main dishes were packed with flavor:
✔ Beef Cubes with Szechuan Peppercorns – perfectly spiced!
✔ General Tso’s Chicken – crispy & saucy goodness!
✔ Braised Jumbo Shrimp with Teriyaki Sauce – so tender and tasty!
To top it off, we sipped on refreshing Cherry Temple drinks.

I suspected that I had ordered a pre-cooked dish. The sauce was thick but tasteless. The braised pork belly with pickled vegetables was only lukewarm and lacked the taste of pickled vegetables. The pickled vegetables were broken and shapeless. The couple's lung slices were too thick with juice. Crispy duck is pretty good.

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese Cuisine Dim Sum Bloom is really a great restaurant to dine at. Here I experienced Authentic Hand Made Dim Sum and Delicious Appetizers and Entrees. For my Appetizer the ribs were cooked to perfection and the meat was just the right amount of tender. I enjoyed all of the dim sum options that I ordered. My favorite was the Hong Kong Style Shrimp Dumplings. I also loved the Sichuan Sicy Wonton In Red Oil . I had the General Tso Chicken for my entree and it was delicious. I also really enjoyed the Lucy Lui cocktail , it was sweet and refreshing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very beautiful , and the service was great I would highly recommend Dim Sum Bloom it is perfect for any dining occasion.

I ordered pick-up, but since it was on time, I asked them to wait a little longer. But he didn't show up for more than 20 minutes and didn't even say sorry for being late because he came first. When I went and asked, the Chinese server, who was not good at English, said nothing but this. I'm writing a review while waiting now.
Sooooo yummy:)

This place is pricier than a lot of neighborhood Chinese, but well worth it, particularly the lunch special.
I know there was a lot of perfume when Dim Sum Bloom opened - all Shun Lee this and Shun Lee that. Notwithstanding, the food is excellent and they have some dishes that are pretty hard to find on the UWS, including Three Cup Chicken. The lunch special bento box is a ridiculous value for $17.95 (see pic). The location, which has housed a Chinese restaurant at least since I was a kind in the early 80s, is large and relatively elegant. I like that they retain some old school touches as well, like super horseradishy neon mustard and crispy noodles for soup.
It’s well worth a stop through.
