We waited 45 minutes for a kebab and another dish of meat, a very very rude waiter, I would have gladly gotten up .. the food nothing special .. I don't recommend it

I tried this place yesterday for the first time & I was so disappointed. The food had no flavors. Chicken was dried like it was pulled off a rotisserie whole chicken it was oily and the hummus was okay not the best I had. The cabbage was okay and the tomatoes and onion mixture was bland I give this place a 3/10. The green sauce and red sauce was disgusting.

This is an amazing music venue. Come, drink, dance! The place has really cool and unpretentious vibe. We have not eaten there and they seem to have an interesting menu. However, we watched friends waiting an excruciatingly long time for a food order - the well-meaning kitchen staff seemed totally overwhelmed. This could have been a blip, so see if other reviews support this. Best option seems to be to come very early (before bands come on) to eat or dine elsewhere.

Food is okay, a little overpriced for what it is. Better to come for drinks and the live music downstairs. Downstairs is a little more grungy, but it can be a vibe.

Place has a C rating and does its best to hide that fact from the customers. Food is also overpriced and mediocre.

Finding this place by accident was pure luck. Excellent standards define the cuisine here. We got large amounts of food and everything tasted good. Their team stays focused on customer satisfaction. Silvana delivered on every front.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC and definitely my favorite in Harlem.

The atmosphere is really unique - it’s a restaurant / cafe / shop / jazz club??

I live in the area so I’ll occasionally just go there and do work on my computer, but I also go there a lot for dinner.

Even though prices have increased a bit lately it’s still generally a fantastic deal.

My favorites:
Hummus with basar (seriously you HAVE to try it - it is so much better than you’re thinking)
Schnitzel sandwich (it’s in a pita with pickles)
Ethiopian wings
Fluffy potato chips (eat them with the hummus)
Shakshuka
Halva ice cream
Frozen margarita

If you’re in the neighborhood, just pop in and have an appetizer and a frozen margarita

The only issue is the service - it’s understaffed. There is be server I always see there who is working incredibly hard - she’s great. But there’s just not enough people to get to everyone sometimes. So be prepared for a bit of a wait if it’s busy, and you might have to try to catch their attention.

I had falafel pita sandwich and it was so good! I love that they put pickles in it. I did ask to keep the hummus on the side.
My father ordered the salmon salad and that was delicious! It has a hefty piece of pan seared salmon sitting on the salad. Great value and great taste. Also the Israeli wine savignon Blanc was delicious and light.
