Small and cozy place with only 2-3 seats to dine in. The quality and portions for the price are unquestionably good. All of the ingredients were pleasant and fresh, even down to the rice. It’s the best poke bowl I’ve had before! Highly recommended for a quick filling bite.

I came here craving a poke bowl and I'm glad I did. It was so good and satisfied my craving. I asked for cooked salmon on mine and it tasted so crisp. I loved the flavor of the seaweed and just everything in it. It's a small space but there is seating. The girl who took our order was nice and attentive. They also have water in the fridge with cups on the table which I liked. The bowl my boyfriend ordered was delicious as well since he ordered raw salmon. Can't wait to come back here.

Was missing poke from california and this place did not disappoint. Fish was fresh, and the flavor was brought out nicely and not overwhelmed by the sauce. The host was also kind enough to provide free beverages as well. Overall, a well sized and well thought out lunch bowl.

I started coming here when they first opened and the owners won my heart. Even today when I walk in Betty and Kim bring joy, not only to my stomach with there amazing, fresh, made with love food, but with their kind smiles and happy demeanor. Each bowl of Poké is made fresh, with care and attention. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

From the outside, it looks like a "hole in the wall" shack...though those type of places are usually the best hidden gems and Simple NYC is no different. What it lacks in size, it makes up in flavor! Had one of the best tuna poke bowls in my life. I wish I took a photo before devouring it...though once I took a bite, I couldn't stop eating. I was honestly expecting restaurant chain quality and was blown away by a bowl under $20 that gives Nobu and Bond St. a run for their money. This place is tiny, so you should order delivery, as opposed to me wandering in. Though what an absolute joy I took a chance. Now it's one of those IYKYK places.

It is great and delicious poke Bowl I have ever had. The shop is too small, I don't want both to sit there, even though there are cool decor. That's the only thing I complained about.

I got a spicy salmon poke bowl. The fish is good... at least I think it is, but it's a little hard to tell under all the sauce. I also don't like that the consistency of the avocado is that of guacamole. Combined with the vast amounts of sauce, the bowl feels like a big pile of mush. The rice was a bit too warm and warmed up all the other ingredients. Lacking in fresh, crisp feelings. But it's o-kay.
