It’s not a bad cocktail bar; it’s more food-based cocktails rather than something you can truly enjoy as a drink. The first server was amazing—very friendly and provided excellent service. The second one, not so much.

Go here!! My partner and I had one of those unforgettable New York nights at Sip and Guzzle. Our waiter at Sip went above and beyond, the drinks were extremely unique and the Wagyu steak will stand as possibly the best sandwich. Period. The whole Sip and Guzzle team clearly cares about everyone who walks in their door. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go again!

The food was phenomenal. The service was excellent as well. The cocktails at sip were a letdown. Feels like they are trying so hard to have something different that they are letting it get in the way of the actual enjoyment of the cocktail. With that said, I would definitely return to eat and order regular cocktails rather than the specialty ones.

Supercool place.

Arrived at 4pm. And waited in line for 30mins. No prob. I was here mainly to Guzzle and if I was lucky, hoping to get to Sip.

Had a good location near the bar and could watch the bartenders do their Magic.

Had the Yuzu Mugurita to begin. Then tried the wagyu old fashion. Had it with the Volcano Roll and the Pork Yaki. They really tasted so good.

To end of the quick 1hr here, I finished it off with a nice Japanese Highball. My evening just started.

Wonderful!!!!!

Had been looking forward to this for a while and the quality of the food really let us down. The service was very attentive (aggressive?), but the quality of food made it not worth it.

This place is OUTSTANDING! The food, drinks, vibe and service is perfect. I highly recommend you try their Wagyu Old Fashioned, Pork Yaki, Volcano Roll and Bikini. You will not be disappointed and I guarantee you’ll make this place one of your favorites. Thank you for the experience!

Website sucks the link to the menus is broken, the entire page reloads when you click anything instead of loading some items dynamically or loading into a new tab. 😒 engineering quality on the ui/ux is always put me off before even trying a bite…

Fantastic cocktails and even better snacks. The fried chicken and desserts are 10/10. Love the aesthetic and the moody, speakeasy vibe downstairs. Highly recommend!

We went to sip and the vibes were great! The drinks were interesting & quite tasty. The food is where it’s at though. The chicken chips & salsa was so creative! And the fried mochi was sooo good!

I had such an incredible experience at Sip & Guzzle. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt warm, thoughtful, and effortlessly cool. The space itself is stunning, but what truly made the night unforgettable was the service.
Every single person we interacted with was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being overbearing.

So this was my 4th spot of the night and at the first three bars one person from each recommended this bar (1 local and 2 bartenders). Im so glad I went. I was able to get a table at the downstairs bar which is specifically what people told me to go to. Both of my cocktails were amazing. I got two of the more spirit forward savory drinks.

I originally made a reservation for Guzzle (the upstairs restaurant) for a birthday dinner. Shortly after booking, someone from the restaurant called and suggested switching our reservation to Sip downstairs, saying it would be more fitting for a birthday and that they had more cocktail options.

I made it clear during that call that we specifically chose Guzzle because we wanted to eat, and I was concerned that the Sip menu seemed more limited. I was reassured that the menus were similar enough and that Sip would be a better fit for a birthday celebration, so we agreed to switch.

That recommendation made no sense in hindsight. Sip did not feel more “birthday” in any way. If anything, the upstairs restaurant seemed like it would have been a better setting. We were seated at the bar instead of a proper table, which made it feel even less celebratory. I genuinely do not understand why we were encouraged to switch.

What was also not disclosed was that Sip has a one-drink minimum per person, with cocktails averaging around $25 each. That absolutely should have been mentioned upfront.

The drinks were okay at best, but not worth the price. They tried to be creative, but nothing stood out enough to justify $25 cocktails. The food portions are extremely small, and there isn’t really anything on the menu that feels like a full meal. We spent nearly $200 and were still hungry afterward. Flavor-wise, the food was either bland or just not good. Nothing justified the price point.

The staff was attentive, but beyond that there wasn’t anything memorable about the experience. In a city like New York, there are far better options at this price point. Overall, it was disappointing, especially given how excited we were to celebrate there.
