Highly Recommended !🙌🏻 ❤️❤️❤️
Very nice and cozy place to enjoy your evening with friends. This place has the most friendly staff and management that cares about customers and their satisfaction, I would especially thank waiter J K for his recommendations. Food was delicious especially Gebzalia ?
This place is my coffee shop away from home. Every time I'm on campus from Chicago you will find me here. The flavors are fresh and scrumptious. It's always a great experience! See you there.

Fantastically crisp and buttery croissants, pleasant to sit outside, friendly service.
Coffee a bit too green for my preference.
Vegetarian options: Veggie quiche looked very nice.

Such a lovely addition to the neighborhood! Great ambience and service. We stopped in for early dinner and were able to try a few delicious Georgian wines. The server was so charming, and he was very helpful with recommendations and interesting tidbits about Georgian wine and cuisine. Food highlights: the eggplant rolls and the lamb dumplings. I can’t wait to return to try their coffee/pastries and to swing through on a jazz night!

**Watch them ring you up carefully: this coffee shop is dishonest about pricing.**
I ordered a cappuccino to stay and they rang me up. I asked why it was $1+ more than the posted price. They said that they can only do large cappuccinos to stay because they don't have small ceramic cups. So, the guy said, they charged me for a large. Mind you, the prices on the wall don't mention different sizes--apparently the posted prices are only for "small" sizes. There are no prices posted for large sizes anywhere, or any indication that the prices are higher for staying in versus to go. And I only discovered this because I asked--not because the cashier was being transparent. They offered no receipt.
I went back and forth with the barista, saying this was a super misleading practice, and couldn't he see that it felt a little scammy to charge people more than the listed prices with no explanation? It was like talking to a brick wall.
The worst part was that the cappuccino sucked--apparently what made it "large" was just adding more milk. So it was a latte. This is no way to treat customers. I will never go back and have told friends to avoid, too. RIP Max Caffe.
Edit: If all the prices are indeed posted clearly on the wall that is a change since I was there, which would be good. But saying that ‘the price shows up on the screen’ is not the same as posting them clearly—that info flashes by quickly and someone should know how much the item costs before ringing up. I do hope you have made these improvements.

I’ve been hoping for a natural wine bar to open in the neighborhood, so when I saw that Sipsteria opened I was excited. Not only was this place a natural wine bar, but it was my favorite sort - Georgian. They offer wine from all the top regions and tapas that feel a bit more universal, but the real reward is for those who love Georgian wine and food. It will not disappoint. The khinkali beef and pork was phenomenal!

A cozy tiny bar. Happy hour drinks are not worth it unfortunately ( it’s served with a tiny glass and mimosa is basically just orange juice ) Food is good.
No laptops at an empty “wine bar” next to Columbia University on a Wednesday night? No problem. See ya later (or never).
