One of the Best restaurants on the Upper East Side. Incredible food, ambiance, and service in a quiet Brownstone between Madison and 5th Avenue.... Pricey though, but worth it.
Beautiful space and great service, but our food was mostly a miss and very expensive for ok food.
Perfect as always. We missed the orange for dessert, but the passion fruit sorbet was great.
Not the best food that I have had and I go to many 4 &5 star reataurants. Food was not edible as far as I am concerned. Very salty
Fabulous upscale Italian restaurant in the UES. Beautiful location and superb service. Menu is innovative and exceptional. Have been several times and Sistina is always excellent.
Sistina is a very good restaurant. We have been dining there for ever 20 years particularly at their old Second Avenue location. On my recent visit I had a negative experience. The waiter asked me if we would like "prosciutto and parmesan". I took that to mean it would be tantamount to an amuse bouche and would be complimentary. It was two thin pieces of prosciutto and two small chanks of parmesan cheese on two plates - one for each of us. I thought "how nice and how generous"! When I received the bill I discovered that we were charged $25 per plate for a total of $50. Had I been told that the plates were $25 I never would have agreed to receive them. Or possibly I would asked for one to split between us. I viewed that as an "upcharge". Also on my bill was a 3% charge for using AMEX. We paid cash scraping our last dollars out of our respective wallets to avoid the 3% charge. For the prices Sistina charges they can afford a little more guest friendliness. Dru White

Beautiful upscale restaurant located across the street from The Met. It will cost you though. A salad is $35, but it was very good. We were 3 dining and 1 friend had the pasta with lamb which she rated as Excellent, and my adult daughter had the linguini with clams and muscles and also rated as Excellent. I on the other hand had the chicken parmesan which was not good at all. Very, very dry all around. We each had a glass of Rose which was lovely and shared the coconut cake for dessert. Our waiter was a little over talkative but friendly. The Bar looked beautiful for those coming in after our late lunch.
Tremendous fine dining restaurant. Professional staff. Great atmosphere. Beautiful decorated/ food was fantastic. Want to return

I asked my waiter what was their more flavorful menu item, their rabbit or their roast suckling pig. He said it was the rabbit, so I ordered the rabbit ($55). I found that it had no flavor whatsoever. Their bread sticks, their various other breads, and their black truffle butter had pleasing tastes. The restaurant's decor and an extremely nice window view of greenery just outside the restaurant were very pleasing. The restaurant is on 81st Street, very close to 5th Avenue. The service was not as attentive as it should be for the very high food prices they charge, along with a 3% credit card use fee if you choose to use one. The waiters were impressively dressed in blue suits.

Had a beautiful and peaceful experience at Sistina for dinner. My view from my seat was of the garden out back, which was nicely lit at night. Food was delicious, really cute decor and china, friendly staff, great menu, and others eating there were very friendly. I'm excited to go back.
Food was excellent.. nicely presented... Service was spot on..nothing was missed... beautiful ambiance.. both classic and modern.... One of the best restaurants on the east side of town..
I recently dined at Sistina and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. The passionfruit ricotta cheesecake was a standout dessert, light yet rich in flavor. I also really enjoyed the fresh bread with truffle butter and the bone marrow, which were both highlights of the meal.
That said, with entrées priced at $60–$75, appetizers at $35–$45, and cocktails ranging from $20–$40, the overall menu is priced on par with restaurants that hold two or even three Michelin stars. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t deliver at that level. While nothing was bad, it simply didn’t feel as refined or memorable as the price point would suggest.
Overall, a nice experience thanks to the great service and a few delicious bites, but I personally didn’t feel the food justified the premium pricing.

This is a very beautiful restaurant that we always enjoy for special occasions and it never disappoints. The food is superior and creative and delicious and the service perfect. However, it is “tacky” and wrong to have an extra credit card charge ( which we never noticed before) on the bill. People do not come generally to a restaurant of this high quality expecting to pay with cash. Would be better to raise the price of items on the menu to absorb this and get rid of the credit card charge . Otherwise a special restaurant !
