There was an empty table reserved so the host gave me the solo table outside and said he would send a waiter. 20 minutes later, in the sun, no service despite eye contact, I returned the menu, the reserved table still empty, and this old Jew hoodie walked away.

A cute, chic Scandinavian spot with that cool, young vibe you’d expect in the East Village. The pumpkin soup was delicious, and both main dishes we tried were nice though they ended up being very similar, which we only realized after sharing.
Prices are on the expensive side for what feels like simple fare, but our server was friendly and impressively patient especially considering he was handling the whole place on his own.
Overall, glad we tried it once but probably a one time visit for us.

Had a wonderful breakfast here! Everything was great, loved the rye bread. We popped into the bakery for dessert afterwards and it was also delicious.

This addition makes our area feel more like a destination. This place sets prices that match food quality. The team handled all requirements efficiently. The local scene includes this tasty eatery. Smør will see our continued patronage.

This place is literally heaven. So cozy with the friendliest servers. I could eat the Swedish meatballs probably everyday. THIS is how you restaurant in New York.

Delicious. My 7 year old said give them 10 stars, or 20 stars. Or just give them as many as you can.

Lovely little spot with a calm, welcoming vibe. Warm wood interiors and soft lighting make it feel cosy without trying too hard.
Great for a quiet breakfast or just lingering with a coffee. The avocado toast is fresh and well-balanced, and the salmon one is a proper highlight – full of flavour, nothing overpowering. Coffee’s solid too.
Staff are genuinely friendly. Feels like the kind of place locals return to.

Imagine a Scandinavian tapas restaurant in the heart of the East Village - that’s Smør. The plates are well portioned and 100% worth sharing with friends.
The food was incredible and the drinks were refreshing and unique. My favorite entrees were the brisket sandwich and the fish and chips. (That curry sauce is INCREDIBLE!) I can’t wait to visit again

Lovely spot for brunch. The restaurant is small with Scandi vibes. The service was friendly and prompt. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us. The food was spectacular. We ordered the crepe-style Danish pancakes, Danish hotdog and a smoke salmon smorrebod.

Closest at 9. Not at 10. You should update your website. Annoying to travel over here across the city and be turned away at 9:05..
Ended up here by accident and was pleasantly surprised! Had the Hangover Sandwich and it was delicious. Service was top-notch (they brought me a new fork the second I dropped mine), though we were seated outside by the sidewalk, which was noisy and a bit uncomfortable. Worth the price for a treat, but make a reservation to avoid the long weekend wait.
