Smor is a great place to check out if you want to try out some Scandinavian food! There isn’t too many Scandinavian spots in the city, and this is one is a great one. The bakery was really nice and airy. It felt like it was decorated like an IKEA store, which makes sense since IKEA is also Swedish. I went to the SMOR bakery and the food was pretty good. There is an absence of casual breakfast places in the neighborhood so I really wanted to make Smor happen. I have faithfully returned there over and over again, trying every item on the menu, hoping to find something good. I found one - a delectable cardamon bun. The rest has either gone downhill (food) or was never good to begin with (sweets). Most of the baked sweets and bread are all burned on top, an indication of the oven being set on high.
