The burger buns were so drenched in oil, they fell apart. The amount of salt hits you like a train with every bite. The bathroom code didn't work, so I was unable to wash my hands for a while until one of the servers let me into the employee area to wash them. Other customers were stranded with no restroom. Many hours after eating the burger, I still smell like old oil. The amount of oil and salt in that burger should be criminalized. I should have had the courage to return that burger and ask for a refund. I deeply regret eating it. I don't know that there is any amount of exercise that will undo the dame that one single-patty burger did today. If you are a manager at this location reading this, please do something to cut on oil and salt used in your burgers. Not sure if it's just this location or perhaps even just this particular burger. If all Smashburger locations are like this, that's a big problem. I never east at McDonald's anymore, but I don't recall it being this bad. I imagined Smashburger to be like a Five Guys. Nowhere close.
EDIT: I went back to kindly provide feedback and the first manager refused to acknowledge that it's wrong to use so much oil and salt. She blamed me for ordering both grilled mushrooms and onions. Another manager intervened and she was much nicer. She listened to my feedback and, while not expected, she brought up giving me a refund and asked that I ask for her next time I come back.

I loved the food there, but I loved the manager there. She is very nice. Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but I will put a picture of her with my daughter. She is really wonderful and nice. She is better than the employees in the other branch in Avenue 8.
