I loved this place. The food and live music are great, the atmosphere is extremely laid back and perfect for relaxing with a few friends and drinks. I recommend the waffle chips + onion dip as an appetizer, and their burger entree was fantastic as well!
We sat toward the back in one of the circular booths and could easily hear each other speaking over the music. They also had a tv set up so you could watch the live performance in the other room.
Overall, I think this place is great. Just make sure you don’t miss the secret red door when you’re trying to find it. 👀

This is a cashless establishment despite it not being listed anywhere or communicated to me when I arrived. Me and my friend came to dine and had a good time until it came time to pay the bill. We were told we couldn’t use cash and the gentleman walked away. I asked him to come back as it was the only form of payment I had and he needed to give me a solution. He had an attitude and said he could get the manager. The manager came over and told me the same and I asked them to tell me where was it listed or when was it communicated to me that I could not use cash to pay my bill. They couldn't provide that information to me. He asked if I could pay with my card. I said no We took out cash so as not to pay with two cards or have to Zelle one another or anything extra. He tells me they can’t take cash because they don’t even have a drawer and they can’t give us change. I said that’s fine because we don’t need any change. He asked again if we could pay with card. I asked him if he would like me to leave the establishment to go put my cash back in my account so that I could pay. He begrudgingly took my cash and told me to wait so that it could be counted. He came back and said we were ok to leave.
The entertainment was great. The food was ok at best and the lack of communication from the venue was poor. I don’t mind paying with my card if that’s policy and stated as such. It was not my responsibility to read their minds if they don’t post it anywhere or say anything. I received text confirmations and instruction on how to get into the restaurant once I arrived. “We are a cashless establishment” could have been included anywhere in those messages. I went to the website before making the reservation and after I went home and nowhere is it listed. It was very unnecessary to pretend I was somehow in the wrong or inconveniencing them. Do better.

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic bartender and music offering. The food is excellent and I love the none descript entrance which both reads as exclusivity and lack of pretention. I highly recommend.
I had:
The pennecilin cocktail- very refreshing
Little gem salad- spot on flavor and style. I often kick myself for choosing greens over oinion dip, but im glad I made the responsible adult decision.
Steak- slightly over cooked, but grwat cut of meat and in no way ruined. The sauce and fries were fantastic and tied it all together.
Bodega cat cocktail- booze espresso in a ceramic bodega coffee cup is a yes every time.
Performer: accoustic singer/songwriter Elliott Greer. Just my style and would come back to see again.

There’s a $10 cover charge per person to watch, but on Sundays they don’t even play the piano and have a DJ set instead, which I think they should’ve mentioned before, especially considering it’s called a Piano Bar so that’s what people would expect (at least not a charged DJ set). There weren’t many interesting drinks and the two we got were on the sweeter side and harder to finish. Not really a special place to go, but maybe during the piano nights it’s better.
Five stars across the board! We needed a quick-ish dinner before a broadway show and this was perfect. We had cocktails, snacks, and entrees in about 45 minutes and didn’t even feel rushed. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. Would recommend the pigs in a blanket, the Brussels sprouts, the seared tuna and the crispy polenta. The old fashioned was really nicely done and the cocktail in the coffee cup was super flavorful.

We made a reservation and came in after we went to an early play. We loved the luxe atmosphere and the fun piano music, and food & drinks. We liked the DJ after 10 pm too (for background music, not dancing) We recommend So & So's!

Beautiful and romantic ambiance. Make sure you’re seated in the main stage room. Overall the place was smaller than expected as it is an intimate venue. Live singing from 8 pm onwards was incredible! Food and drinks were average esp considering the higher price point. Pics make the venue look bigger than it actually is
