We go often to this place every time we want to feel the real Spain experience. Food is amazing. Service is outstanding. And the show is one of a kind. Prices are reasonable. Love the paella ! Second time back here and we drive about an hour just to come here. One of the only authentic paella places in nyc - reminds us of our time in Spain.
Wilor was absolutely lovely and helped us decide what to order. He has great energy and very nice energy! He really brought the vibes :)

Overall good experience at Socarrat. We came during restaurant week and got the $45 per person deal. You get a tapa per person and then you can share paellas, minimum 2 people per paella. You also get a dessert per person no drinks included.

The food tastes good. The tapas were great. The paellas taste good too the only problem is that a lot of rice was burned. They put a very thin layer of rice spread on the very hot pan and it just gets dry and burned which is a shame. The seafood itself in the paella was very good. Desserts were basic but nice.

We had a great experience on a Tuesday. I’ve music and flamenco. Not to add Wilor was amazing between menu recommendation and digestif drink it’s was an overall 10/10 second time here

Great tapas and paella. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint! Our server today, Wilor was excellent!.. he recommended the Torrija dessert and it was the bomb!

The paella reminds me of my time in Spain, it’s perfectly cooked and crispy around the edges. Two portions is more than enough for three people. The croquettes and churros were delicious too! The aioli on top makes the croquettes better than others we’ve had in town. We will be back - I’m looking forward to trying the seafood paella next time!

The paella was overcooked. Rice was burnt to the pot. The waiter had to scrape it for us. Never before had paella like that. Also we ordered a paella for 3 @$35 per person. The portion was more like for 1 and a half persons or a large one person order. Was there a year ago and was much better.

We had a terrific time, great paella and very fun flamenco!

A friend highly recommended this place owned by her friend Lolo, specially for the great paella, and we were not disappointed!! Everything was delicious. Wilor, our waiter who was super helpful and friendly, recommended his top selection for paella and starter and it was a beautiful combination of flavours (we had the Gambas al ajillo and a Socarrata Paella) We round it all up with Wilor’s recommended dessert, the torrijas and were surprised with a complimentary flan and dessert wine from Lolo! He was lovely!…and they were both right - the torrijas are not to be missed!
