We finally got to experience tuesday night here. It was a lovely time. The Flamenco performance was fantastic. And of course the food was delicious.
Had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday! The food was outstanding. The ambiance was charming. Highlights were the ensalada, gambas, short rib, and Basque cheesecake. The spicy margarita and sangria was delicious! Can't wait to go back.
was there with my wife and a friend, we tried the famous paella (fish version), some tapas and Lubina. The food was really good, and the service impeccable, especially considering my wife is celiac (a big part of the menu is gluten free) The only downside was the San Gennaro feast just outside, a bit too noisy and crowded... but nothing the restaurant could do we will definitely go back
I've been coming to Socarrat for many years, and every time it feels just as special. The flamenco dancers and the incredible brothers who play the guitar create such a lively and authentic atmosphere—it truly transports you to Spain. The food is outstanding, with flavors that taste just like homemade Spanish cooking. I love that the quality and consistency never change. The atmosphere is always fantastic, making every visit unforgettable.
I had a best pitcher of white sangria ever! The jamón ibérico was also perfectly sliced thin.
The venue, service, hospitality , entertainment were excellent. My friend and I felt for a $38 coutererie board there should have been more cold cuts.
A great place for a group dinner (we were 8). Service was amazing. Friendly, timely and and accommodating. Food was delicious too, Especially the tapas. Paella was also yummy
I recently took a short trip to Spain but, unfortunately, didn't get the chance to try paella while I was there. Still craving it, I started looking for Spanish restaurants nearby and came across this place on the Restaurant Week list. They offered a 3-course menu for $45, and the staff were very friendly in explaining the dishes. The service was excellent. The food wasn't too salty, which I appreciated, and the paella had a generous amount of seafood, which I really enjoyed. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in the mood for Spanish cuisine.
Great place for Paella and small plates. Paella are price by protion so be mainful of this, they will only serve paella for two.
We go often to this place every time we want to feel the real Spain experience. Food is amazing. Service is outstanding. And the show is one of a kind. Prices are reasonable. Definitely a to go place every time we are visiting the City. See you again August 5th for the Flamenco show again!!! Let’s GOOOOO! 💪🏼🥰💃🇻🇪❤️🇪🇸

Love the paella ! Second time back here and we drive about an hour just to come here. One of the only authentic paella places in nyc - reminds us of our time in Spain.
Wilor was absolutely lovely and helped us decide what to order. He has great energy and very nice energy! He really brought the vibes :)

Visiting you was a pleasant experience, Albert and Amaia you are excellent hosts, both of attentions, drinks and each of the dishes were exquisite. Highly recommend
Overall good experience at Socarrat. We came during restaurant week and got the $45 per person deal. You get a tapa per person and then you can share paellas, minimum 2 people per paella. You also get a dessert per person no drinks included.
The food tastes good. The tapas were great. The paellas taste good too the only problem is that a lot of rice was burned. They put a very thin layer of rice spread on the very hot pan and it just gets dry and burned which is a shame. The seafood itself in the paella was very good. Desserts were basic but nice.
