Came to have dinner on a Thursday night, place was pretty packed. Ordered drinks, they were okay. The "classic" gin n tonic that I got didn't have angostura like it said in the menu but no biggie, still drank it. Server and staff were friendly but felt forgotten a couple times. The food was okay, the croquetas were mushrooms, those were delicious as was the brussel sprout salad but it was huge. The pulpo had no flavor, just tasted like paprika and was sliced as...
Always a great experience. No one makes Paella and Sangria the way Socarrat does. I have been going since 2012 when I first moved to NYC! Thank you for being a part of New York. A true gem of a restaurant with very warm and amazing staff.
I've been coming here for years. The vibe is unmatched. The staff service is so attentive. Diego is a doll. The food is divine and it's hard to believe you're getting a flamenco show THAT incredible without paying for it. This will always be one of my favorite spots.
