Great food, great service, lovely layout. I'd 100% go again for that French toast and latte

We love the farm to table food. So happy to dine in a restaurant that buys from the union square Greenmarket! Delicious vegetarian options. Meat and fish are great too. Service was excellent. Our second time here. We will be back!

The food here is great, and my grouip had a very tasty meal. But be warned, when the place is full, it can be rather noisy.

The decor at Society Cafe is simple and beautiful, and the ambiance delightful. The mushroom risotto and the steak were delicious, and the service excellent. One of the few restaurants I know of that serve popovers! We've eaten here before and will continue to do so.

Very pleasant. Interesting menu, not very large but with great variety. A bit too salty, but I guess one can request less from the get go if one is sensitive . Waiters interrupted a bit too often.

Love going to Society Cafe where the menu changes to reflect what's fresh in the market that day, while also offering good basics like pizza, burgers and fish selections. The service is always excellent.

Beautiful décor, outstanding service , and an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. Every member of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Special mention to Pablo, the rockstar bartender — we asked him to create some tequila-based cocktails, and both were absolutely fantastic. Before or after dinner, you can enjoy live music in the hotel lobby, which adds such a charming touch to the evening. Combined with the amazing food, it truly makes for the perfect spot — whether for a romantic dinner or an evening out with friends. The Crab & Corn Beignets were a creative, crave-worthy twist, the branzino was cooked to perfection (that sauce... wow), and the s'more dessert was a playful, elevated throwback to campfire nights. My wife couldn't stop raving about her dishes either. Bottom line: amazing food, killer cocktails, live music, and the kind of service that makes you smile all night. I'll be back — and so should you.

It was unfortunate for the restaurant and for us that the air conditioning was not working. The food was a mixed bag. The steak was good but the portion size was too small for the price. As to the hamburger, it took them two times to get It cooked as requested. Also believe it was a small patty for a $26 burger. The bun was also too thick and for the burger.

There were tables available on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere was amazing. I really like the window that lit up the basement. The chicken waffles was the only thing that was good though. The shakshuka was mid-.

Chef Nicholas is TRULY talented. The beef tartare is a work of art. And Society Cafe trains up youth in need. They really care.

Victor - es numero uno. His heart is here to serve and create a sincere and comforting experience. It's a lovely spot to bring the team or that secret special someone to escape the busy, the chaotic - to truly decompress.
