My new favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. James, who owns and operates the shop, is very friendly and pulls an incredibly smooth espresso shot. His cortados and cappuccinos are top notch and the beans are high quality. The inside is cute with chill vibes. A nice antidote to the many venture capital backed chains that dot Manhattan. A true neighborhood gem.

The best coffee I had in NYC after a week visiting all different and expensive cafés! The Ethiopia, lightly roasted, was absolutely delicious (but you can also have darker roasted). The milk was so well steamed! I am for sure recommendimg to all my New Yorker friends..

We stopped by for a coffee (flat white and iced latte) and it didn’t disappoint. If you like your specialty coffee, chilled vibes this is the place for you. The coffee was the best we had so far, and we tried a lot!

This is a really sweet cafe in Harlem! I was visiting from Oregon when someone suggested I stop by, and I'm sincerely glad I did. You can tell the owner and employees care about their craft, and have fostered a great community in their cafe. Great coffee, delish pastries, kind people. What more could you want?

Sojourner Coffee makes a large city like New York feel like a tight-knit community. Not only can you get the best cup of coffee, but you can also find stimulating conversation. I've tried a variety of their drinks, but the regular latte is my favorite, especially when paired with one of their pastries. It's my favorite spot in NYC because of the atmosphere and high-quality coffee/drinks. You should definitely try it!
