Shared a lovely meal with my ???throb the other evening. We love dining out of doors. The food was exceptional everything we ordered were specials: beet capacious with arugula and cheese, fresh mushroom ravioli--house made and topped with roasted tomatoes, and finally a roasted banzino with vegetables. Service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry and enjoyed a very leisurely meal

The food was excellent. However, the service was not very good. A lot of miscommunication with the server, a lot of rushing around. They were understaffed and hasty. Our order was misunderstood, therefore our food was delayed, and finally our bill was swapped with someone else.

This site is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a proper supper, this place comes straight to my head. best and varied food and a large list of dishes.courteous staff members, and pleasant atmosphere. In addition to that, the cost is fair. I recommend this place with no doubt.

I consider myself very picky when it comes to Italian restaurant. This place is one of the best Italian restaurants in Manhattan. They serve amazing authentic Italian dishes.

Authentic Italian meals in a small restaurant. There are only 18 seats, and a small kitchen where you can see the chef (owner) prepare your meals. I was in NYC for a week and had two dinners here veal and mushrooms one night, and scallops the second visit.

Totally bizarre experience compared to some of the other reviewers here. It certainly does look like a hidden gem when you walk in, and the food is great, but here are a few notes: We were told there is a $20 per person minimum. That turned me off immediately because it was right after we said we wouldn't order wine and it wasn't posted anywhere. Every other table was served their entrees before us. We arrived at 6:15 and didn't get our plates until 8:15. Another table actually arrived, ate, and left before we did. The server apologized for the wait to the table next to us - but not to us, though we had waited far longer and arrived before they did. I want to read into this more because the other tables were full of older folks and we were a group of young women so is that why we got the stink eye? Did they think it would be less of a problem to de-prioritize us? Ignore us? The food was great but we waited so long for it that we felt really really annoyed and hungry by the time we got it. We couldn't understand why they hadn't given us a simple apology and ignored us for hours. This restaurant is small - there is no chance they "forgot" us. I would skip this place next time.

This place has the most lovely interior that I've been to in a while in New York. It felt quaint and authentic and very homey. You watch the chef cook the food next to you and he also tells you the specials for the night in person. I didn't have trouble getting a table at dinner time on a Thursday night. We had the shrimp and crab linguine's - both were really excellent. I'm honestly surprised to find this place in Tribeca, but will definitely be back. I had a chocolate cake for dessert, and it was not really worth buying. The best part of it was the cream next to it but maybe some of the other desserts are better. I will try them all!

This place is unassuming but fantastic. Simply very good. I had to write something because previous reviews are missing the point. The service is careful and just right for a family run business. Fresh pastas for a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere. Fresh ingredients are the key. Nice wines. Felt transported to a family run local favorite in Italy. We had the minestrone, prosciutto and mozzarella, penne caprese, beef ravioli. All were great and made fresh to order.

We were celebrating a birthday, 10 people +. The chef was so helpful in preparing the menu for us beforehand. The servers treated us like celebrities. I arrived late and missed the salad, they made one just for me! So sweet and kind. Authentic people and amazing, flavorful food! Thank you

We were recommended this Italian Restaurant by some friends in Phoenix, AZ. This is a small family owned restaurant and it was excellent. Our meals were prepared after we ordered. My wife has the manicotti and I ordered the seafood linguini. We will be going back before we leave in 10 days.
