Get standing room tickets, chill at the upstairs bar until the band starts. If you're lucky Edgar will be working.
Worst experience ever. I spent close to a $1,000 dollars to take my mom and two friends to a show, there was no heat, the food was horrid, and the venue definitely needs an update!
A somewhat luxurious place
Naturally high wage
nice environment
This place was so beautiful. I went to see an Infinity Song concert there. All the musicians were amazing and clear to hear and see. The staff here were super friendly and helpful too. It was a great time.
Spectacular place where they have live music... The food is really good!!
Great ambience, food was tasty and it was great to share with my teenage son! We attended the Candlelight hip-hop. We will remember the amazing music at this amazing venue.
I’ve been trying to get back to this magical venue for over a decade and trying to also see The Ocean Blue for forty years. I accomplished both in one night! Great acoustics, drink service was even provided on the floor away from bar! Alcohol and water prices were super reasonable for NYC. Cool historical venue that is just priceless nostalgia! The venue and the band were stars ✨
Great experience we loved the show and the venue just wish it were longer
A great venue and grand place for David Sanborn's Tribute Concert! The food and hospitality from the staff made it an unforgettable night!
Really nice place

Awesome show with the #highlinequartet
My boyfriend and I attended the Candelight Concert: Best of Hip Hop at Sony Hall presented by Fever. We had tickets for Section A. The process to get in went smoothly. You have to go down some stairs to get into the venue. It’s nice. The staff were friendly, helpful, professional, and courteous. The musicians were phenomenal! The venue does serve food and drinks for purchase. The only reason I only gave the experience 4 stars is because the setup for seating was way too crowded. I couldn’t move in my chair without bumping the person behind and next to me. My boyfriend who is tall had to sit on the chair at the end of the table because there was no way he could fit on the inside. Every time wait staff passed by the aisle he had to turn aside to let them through because of how close the tables and chairs were set up. The food was good. Drinks made well. Overall a good experience.
Absolutely awful sound system during the show I attended.
Went to the Poison Girlfriend show at Sony hall last night, 11/3, and for all three acts the music was almost inaudible. At first it was hard to tell if the performers were the reason for the problems, but by the third act it was clear that there was something wrong with the venues audio.
My friend and I couldn’t take any more and walked out early. When we got outside the opening acts were on the street and asked us if we could hear anything during the show, confirming that something was indeed wrong with the audio engineering. I requested a refund but was denied.
Would never go back.
Sony Hall is welcoming, and the sound quality is good and the fifties vibe on point. What really impressed me was how well clean kept were the bathroom stalls. Also, the kindness of the restroom personnel. The waitress was not the fastest but yes the nicest. Also, considering the amount of people that were there for the Cimafunk show, I considered a plus she being able to get us cold drinks to the table.
Overall a great New York night experience.
