I'm all the way in my feelings missing my favorite NY food. This by far is my favorite spot in the city for Cuban cuisine. They are quick and easy and the food is always yummy. The grilled hot chicken and Verde sauce is absolutely yummy. Love them #givingempress ?

The food was blah! I wouldn’t call it authentic Cuban food… The lady at the 45th St location was rude and obnoxious and has NO SENSE of good customer service!! My friend and I were the only ones ordering and the lady was trying to rush me to order for no reason! The food is just Caribbean food which could be from any of the Caribbean islands! I wanted to try out the empanadas but the rude lady couldn’t think out of the box! You can fool any foreigner any Gringo but not any Spanish person who knows This Is Just An Excuse to Cuban food!The prices were exorbitantly high .. the food was ok but not what is expected at that price.Go to Washington Heights/Inwood and try the restaurants there; make the comparisons .. you get much better portions and better food at half the cost and you’ll see this is NOt real Cuban food!! You can fool anyone who doesn’t know about Spanish food but you are not going to fool me! The chick peas and the salmon were ok but that green sauce was too spicy and overpowering!I could cook better! Nothing extraordinary!!But the most obnoxious thing besides the overpriced food was the rudeness of the person behind the counter!!!

I went in a few minutes ago to purchase dinner and had an awful experience. I requested Moro rice and as the woman was scooping I notice a neon colored strip. I advise the woman and she ignores me. I then repeat myself and point at the rice asking if she doesn’t see what I do and again she stares at me and gives a frowning look. Maybe she didn’t speak English but if a customer repeats something to you and has a look of disgust on their face you should call someone for assistance. Moro rice is brown in color, it does not contain anything neon! Instead of addressing it she covered it with more rice. I feel sorry for the next person that receives a serving especially if it’s ordered through a delivery app!
The food is great but the service makes you have a very bad experience the people who serve are rude they don't know the meaning of the word service and kindness no one is going to ask for free food we all go and pay, on one occasion they treated my wife too badly To the point that I return home crying, they honestly make you look for other options for lunch. I shop at this point every day! But I don't go there anymore, I prefer to order through doordash.

I like to visit on Tuesdays for Tuesday's special (chicken fricassee). On the wall, the price is listed as $12.99, but they always charge me $13.99. Whenever I correct them, they always make sure that I know they are annoyed. I just don't understand.
