Food was very high quality. I was lucky to come in on a day they were serving their oxtail.
Its been soo long since I have had some and this hit the spot. This is my second time coming in and it definitely hits the spot every time.
Service is quick I order this on my way to the store and when I got there the food was ready.
Who loves orange soda? I do! So I paired my meal with it and it was all satisfying.
10/10 recommend.

I went to Sophie’s Cuban on 947 8th ave today, to ge t one cheese empanada I was charged $3.79 += tax $4.12. The menu says Mini empanada $1.49. I swear I was a tiny one but it was not the mini one. I didn’t see the price on the displayed menu . Can we get consumer’s affairs to take a look at this matter? I have the receipt. This is robbery and on top of that we have to pay tariffs from now on. Enough with s enough. 😡
Hi George I think you misunderstood my review. Your empanada isn't worth $4.79. With that said your comment just shows the lack of respect to me and consumers in general. You wont see my money ever again!!

First of all, the food wasn’t bad at all. I had the yellow rice with grilled chicken and veggies, and I also ordered a chicken empanada. My main issues were that the empanadas were really small for the price, and the A/C was broken on a 96-degree day, which made the experience uncomfortable.
