Backtracked and found it!
Small place that fits 3 people at most and only take out, which is what we were looking for. We had the Lobster Bisque and The Roasted Red Pepper & Gouda Bisque. Both delicious! Pricing is about right for NYC and the area. Will definitely be back.

The place is tiny. Like 10x10. A closet that only 3 or 4 people can fit in. There was a short line outside that moved quickly. Inside, it’s the quintessential little hidden NYC gem. No website...
