I've been here a few times after work for a few drinks and something to eat. They have nice outdoor seating, good chicken bites and burgers.

The worst bar I ever had. 10 US dollars for one guinnes is a fare.
Ok place for drinks and decent basic bar food... However.... People smoke here... I mean chain smoking at the tables by the door outside... When I was there for an hour, I saw two tables smoking... When I had mentioned this to the staff, they simply dismissed it, and could not care less... Better bars all over the city with staff that cares than this place...

I volunteered at the animal shelter directly across from South Soho Bar and never realized such a quaint cocktail bar was in my midst. The decor hearkens back to the glory days of 1920s speakeasies but with a more exotic flair, like maybe a speakeasy in Havana. It doesn't feel like they're trying as hard for the vibes as other "speakeasies".
We got bespoke drinks, one with a "tropical and fruity" theme, and one with a "spicy" theme. Both drinks came out delicious and on-point. The Fries and Chicken Nuggets were also crisp and satisfying. All in all, a hidden gem in an otherwise dingy, forgettable part of NYC (except for that animal shelter!).

We enjoyed our cocktails. Diverse array of beverages & the Manhattan and Sour Amaretto were well prepared. We also loved the outdoor seating & people watching. Server was patient, attentive & polite.

GREAT BAR!! Drinks are great and the prices are decent! My friend I spent about $55 each on three shots and two cocktails, which honestly seems like a great deal especially for nyc! The bartenders were so friendly and the one who was serving my friend and I was so fun and great to be around! The ambiance is really chill so it’s a great place to enjoy time with friends without a crowd! Will definitely come back the next time I’m in NYC!
