The staff was amazing. This place is incredible. I absolutely love it. Very special and I try to eat there every time I am in NYC. Thank you for treating my wife and I so special.
We come to Soarks every time we come to NY —at least once a year. This time was a disappointment. The food was good not great— steak had to be sent back as it was rare. Vegetables were not hot. Just not up to Sparks' standard.
Anyway, the meat was delicious The servers were so absorbed in talking to each other that they didn't notice us at all
We celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary at Sparks. This may be the best steak restaurant in the world, much less NYC. The ambiance is amazing. Dinner was outstanding. We ordered the filet (medium) and medallions (medium rare) with a side of creamed spinach and cheese cake for desert. Our waiter, Juan, has been with the restaurant 32 years. He made sure we got to the play on time and made us feel special. Can't wait to come back!
Sparks is definitely a place that has thrived on its reputation, history, and certainly you cannot take away that it does have excellent food. It is also a tourist trap and overpriced even by New York standards. That being said, it's worth doing one time to say you were there and then there are way too many other places in New York City to dine. the service is very good, and very formulaic. It's a fun place to sit and watch people and enjoy a New York vibe.
We loved Sparks! The food was fantastic, and the ambiance was what we were looking for. Service was great and friendly, and again, the food is fantastic. My fiance and I will be going back every year :).
Steaks and lobster cooked to perfection, old but clean and refined ambience, a favorite place for family reunions!
We thoroughly enjoyed Sparks Steakhouse. The food was excellent. The cut of meat was impressive. The staff was attentive, courteous and very professional. The whole experience was top notch. When we are back in New York we will definitely visit Sparks again.
This is arguably the best steak restaurant I have ever visited. From the moment I walked in the door, the experience was 5-star all the way. The restaurant has kept its traditional decor and furnishings. The staff are all very well presented in their suits and aprons. We were seated immediately upon confirming our reservation. The menu has an excellent selection of dishes, and our waiter also made some recommendations. The starter was a generous sized portion, but not too large. The sirloin steak was the largest I've ever had. It was cooked and seared to perfection, and the sides were a great addition to the plate. The prices were completely justified by the quality of the food and the service experienced there. I'd highly recommend Sparks Steak House to anyone.
The meal and the service that we received were simply amazing. Big thanks to Jimmy who took great care of us tonight. The steak fromage and creamed spinach are both mindblowingly good.

Well let me start with this was booked as an anniversary special occasion and our dessert was served saying happy birthday. We part our Waun everything came out too fast. We sat for a half an hour without drinks we initially came in. Would never come here again, and so disappointed.
Everything was as it always has been, and should be. Highest quality, and classic NYC steak house ambience that is only mimicked by newcomers.
OVERHYPED!! Steaks not great, very limited sides, and wife got bearnaise sauce that was literally just brown gravy. Very dissapointed
We were a party of 7. The servers were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I had the crab and scallops, they were delicious.

Good just ok. Incredibly expensive. Old reputation is just that. OLD. Too expensive for not a great meal. Although the service is exemplary
