Made a last minute reservation for Spes and found the restaurant empty. Ambiance was incredible, food was delicious, and the service (Andy) was first class. Could not recommend this spot more. Hidden gem in the East Village!
The food surpassed the service and that says a lot because the service was impeccable! And we honestly were seated so close to closing we weren't expecting them to be so accommodating.. yet they were! And we still didn't feel rushed! Lovely place, will be returning!
This is an immaculate restaurant and wine bar! The vibes are excellent for date night or girly dinners. It's a super small restaurant but the great music and ambient lighting adds to the cozy atmosphere. Had to call to make a reservation for 6 people on a Saturday night and even though our table wasn't ready, the servers Diego and Andy made sure we were taken care of and treated us to some wine!
