Hidden gem in midtown east. Some of the best Indian food I've had in the city. Excellent service and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic meal! The food was delicious, and Nisar, the general manager, ensured that service was impeccable. He answered all our questions about the menu and made helpful suggestions that turned out to be winners all around. This is a new favorite restaurant in NYC!

We had a great dinner! what was outstanding is that after leaving the restaurant, someone ran afer me tapping my shoulder while i was halfway done the street. It was Nisar, the manager, bringing me my wallet that i had left at the table. He saved me a lot of issues. Thank you do much Nisar!!

I am a bit disappointed with the quality of food. It appears that the restaurant simply reheats frozen food and add few toppings look fresh. We ordered sweet corn and does have no taste. Appears that the chef throws some frozen cooked up broken corn into water with few cuts of carrots. We ordered baigan barata.. which is awful. Tandoori nan ok. A bit disappointed overall with the quality of food served.

Our dinner and drinks were excellent. The fact that we were the first evening diners meant that we were very well attended by the maitre'd, Nisar. He proudly described each of our meals and presented several complimentary small servings of other dishes that were truly tasty. Though slightly overwhelmed with sauce, the shrimp piri piri was delicious and the butterfly shrimp were excellent precursors to our chicken with garlic sauce and tellicherry pepper chicken main courses. After a chaotic day, this place would be a great way to unwind and relax with a nice dinner and drinks.
