Spiga is a true neighbourhood treasure. This cozy restaurant offers not only delicious food but also incredibly warm and friendly service that keeps us coming back. It’s become a go-to spot for our family. We’ve been dining here regularly, and our daughter (since she was just 3 years old!) has been a devoted fan of the “green pasta,” a pesto dish topped with fresh burrata — it’s always fresh and delicious. This little Italian neighborhood restaurant is a hidden gem. If you want an elevated version of what your Italian grandmother cooks for you, this is your place.

The carbonara was the best I’ve ever had - perfectly balanced with the crispiest bacon. The chicken parmesan was outstanding, the bolognese was perfection, the all’amastriciana divine.

The kicker is that the owner and staff are incredibly friendly, not to mention also deeply knowledgeable...

Marco’s new restaurant is a true hidden gem! As the owner, Marco has created an intimate and small setting that feels warm and welcoming. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to this wonderful spot on the upper west side.
