The food tastes good, but the service left me disappointed. The lady working the afternoon shift at the counter was unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome… On top of that, I noticed a side listed as $4 on the pickup menu but was charged $5 instead. The extra dollar isn’t the issue, but it comes across as careless and unprofessional. It’s unfortunate, because the food itself is good.

I didn’t eat here but asked for the ingredients in the pastries and cookies. They use MELT butter which is full of canola oil. That was a NO for me!

Took 35 minutes from the time I ordered to when I got the food. terrible service they served poached eggs in a bowl with water in it.

I can rarely not finish my food even if I don't like it but the mac and cheese and simply the cheese products in general was just not good in the slightest. I genuinely could not consume it. This place is very expensive and I was expecting the food to be better or at least the service following a bad experience.

Colorful indoor seating, and nice outdoor seating. Lots of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu -- with a large variety, from Mexican to Middle Eastern to salads. . . The items my friend and I ordered were delicious, and also pretty. The coffee was also quite good, along with the juices and smoothies.

Absolutely love this place! 😊 The matcha is amazing, the freshly squeezed green juices are super refreshing, and I keep coming back for the falafel wrap — it's that good. Made with a sprouted tortilla, avocado, sprouts, hummus, and falafel, it’s fresh, flavorful, super satisfying, and the portion is huge! All that for just around $18–19 — such great value for the quality. Always a highlight of my day 💚🌯

Food was very mediocre, particularly for the prices. My bread was moldy and another person in my party found a very short hair in her smoothie (her hair is long). The dining space is very loud even with one or two people in it, there is no sound dampening. The staff was nice enough but not enough to make up for the lack of flavor or ambiance.

Great little spot for breakfast or lunch. They have a bunch of vegan good options and smoothies/juices. It feels a bit pricey but the portions are huge so I always have leftovers.

This cafe is great. It has clearly labeled vegan and gluten free items. We got the Not Your Every Day Nachos and the Vegan Poke Bowl. Both were yummy and the house made nacho cheese was especially good. They also had house nut milk for their Chai Latte.

I had to get the lemon poppy seed muffin on the way out which was one of the most moist gluten free baked goods I have had.

You order at the counter and they give you a number to bring to your table so you can choose where to sit. They have free Wi-Fi if you want to bring your laptop and work.

The bathrooms are clean which is always a plus. There's one single on the first floor as well as gender neutral stalls in the basement.

I was a second time customer of Spring Cafe Aspen and heard about the restaurant due to its seed oil free environment. What I eat is super important to me.

2 days ago I dinned at the W 4th street location. I ordered a Latte, the nachos, and the Chickpea Hummus. I realized that I had ordered too much food so I immediately asked my waiter to pack the chickpea hummus meal to go. He took it away and placed it in an enclosed to-go container and in a brown paper bag stapled shut. I ate the nachos and latte onsite and I saved the chickpea pita meal for dinner tonight.

That evening, as I took several bites into one half of the sandwich, I noticed a live white worm/maggot crawling along side the pita and actively “eating” the scraps of food. I immediately spit out the food, took pictures, threw the meal away, and called the restaurant mortified by what I saw. I spoke with Eric who said to email holly the manager with my complaint. By sharing my name, he was able to pull up my order in the system. I emailed my complaint to the manager named Holly sharing the below photos requesting a full refund, but never heard back. I’ve called twice but the manager never seems to be around. I will never eat here again due to the unsanitary food environment and poor customer service. It’s been 2 days and I never heard a response from the restaurant.

This has never happened to me before.
I am very grossed out by what I saw, and could have ingested. I will never eat here again.

Been vegan for 13 years and this has quickly become my new favorite lunch spot in the city. It’s not overpriced, large quantities, incredibly tasty and healthy. The menu is large and diverse. Everything I’ve had here has been amazing - burrito, burger, spinach artichoke dip, nachos…I can’t recommend enough. If you were a fan of Organic Grill this place scratches the same itch. Finally a new vegan place that isn’t just junk food or reheated impossible burgers. GO HERE U WONT REGRET IT!

2nd visit , unfortunately very understaffed. Waiter is wonderful, but can’t run the entire restaurant by himself.
