Should have read recent reviews. Order was clearly made with old food, stale chicken and brown guac. Restaurant didn’t pick up phone to fix issue. Clearly has gone down hill in recent years, it’s very sad.

Nasty. First time and last time. Chicken is mostly dark meat. Just has a gross taste. Brussels seem blackened…I guess. Sweet potatoes are undercooked. Bone broth rice seems catch/trendy but not tasty. Pickled items are pickled. I navigated the bowl to eat the rice, Brussels and pickled items. Mainly bc I spent so much on this nasty lunch. Butternut squash soup very meh as well. Portion is decent but inedible…for me.

the grandma's chicken and rice bowl is good but the salmon has given me food poisoning twice (would not recommend ordering it)

Best wholesome and nurturing bowl of food goodness. Their bone broth straightens- up any “under the weather” feelings. Would be nice to see some freshly chopped herb add-ons in the future such as mint, coriander, basil etc

What is going on here?… Someone or some entity please take the wheel!..yikes.

I’ve been to this location multiple times since they’ve opened and lately something’s been off about the staff. Despite past vibes..I recently had surgery and needed to eat soft foods and decided I would just be hopeful and give it a shot one more time..

Well…I made a very large purchase of a mix of fresh soups and frozen broths to last me throughout most of my recovery and sadly when I opened one of the frozen broths after thawing I was sad to see I had encountered the same issue as the reviewer who commented about the fatty broth (except worse.) It seemed as if most of the broth was fat not just the top layer. It didn’t even look like broth. I called immediately and told them I’d have to come in to exchange and the person a I spoke to sounded “okay” (not apologetic or anything) and agreed to do an exchange, didn’t offer delivery or anything at all. I just went with it since this I guess good customer service is not what I really come here for lol. Well I sent my partner the next day since I couldn’t physically go and he too informed me that an employee made it a point to demonstratively show their irritation about this extreme inconvenience for them. They opened the containers, sniffed them, rolled their eyes and threw out the obviously inedible broth and were irritable throughout the entire transaction. As if this was our fault or like we were exaggerating the issue.

I’ve made broth for years and know what it’s supposed to taste and look like and just decided to invest my time and money (almost $200) because I didn’t feel I had the energy to make it myself this time. But when you encounter these extremely unprofessional, and questionable standards with the people selling our food it’s concerning to think about what is going with the food and service industry. What is this entitlement about ? Are you not profiting from consumers?

I had half joked with my partner to ask for a free cookie to see if they just offer it for our inconvenience …and should they not offer I had asked him just to buy it if nothing was offered. Well of course nothing was offered, and, he didn’t even feel comfortable in asking for the cookie because the employee was so irritable. So now I’m just in bed disappointed I spent my money here AND have no cookie,..yay..

How sad, I guess I’ll plan to cook from home from now on! Eek.

I’ve never left a negative review online ever ..but you witness a close loved one be treated in this way it just does the trick. Please see the picture, it’s quite revolting.
