Hosting a business happy hour at Spygold was an absolute win. The setting is truly perfect; it has a fun, upscale speakeasy vibe that works for a group, but the acoustics and intimate layout mean you can still privately talk business without having to shout. The service was super, attentive without being intrusive, which kept the evening running smoothly. The apps were amazing and paired perfectly with the drinks. I personally started with a great vodka martini and wrapped things up with an even better espresso martini as a nightcap. If you're looking for a sophisticated spot in NYC that hits all the right notes for professional and social gatherings, this is it. 5 stars!

Didnt have food but the drinks were great even if a little small. The atmosphere was wonderful and could talk and hear people well. Wasnt cheap. Server was really nice and let us stay late past closing but sometimes we had to hunt them down. Need reservations. In the basement of greywind.

A random search led me possibly to one of my new favorite cocktail lounges! I had less than two hours before my train and needed a spot near the station to meet a friend, somewhere intimate enough for good conversation. This was perfect.
We only had cocktails, but I asked the server for a gin recommendation similar to Hendrick’s from their “Made in NY” list — and he nailed it. Excellent drinks, great service, and a cozy vibe.
The food looked and smelled amazing too, even though we weren’t hungry this time.
Plus, any place that has a picture of a personalized matchbook on their socials will always move to the top of my list — it’s a scavenger hunt for the true New York foodie elites. iykyk.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem for a drink w. my friend and we’re so glad we did. It was a great intimate spot with beautiful dark decor and DJ. The service was great and one of their staff, Ishmal was nice enough to let us try their Brazilian Rum pineapple cocktail that wasn’t on the menu. It was so delicious and smooth with a nice aroma. Overall, great vibes!

This new hidden cocktail bar is cozy, spacious and well designed. The menu and variety of drinks was equally as impressive. We were impressed by the ambiance and service and would definitely return again soon. The hostess accommodated us without a reservation.

Loved spy gold. The bites were pretty good (we had one of everything) and the cocktails were absolutely fantastic. Their frozen martinis were my favorite thing because it’s basically DIY so you decide how dry you want it, if you want it dirty at all etc. i highly recommend this spot. It’s intimate so keep that in mind when visiting. Make reservations and note you need to enter through Greywind next door and head downstairs. There is an elevator for accessibility purposes.
