Food, service, vibes and natural wine all so so good. A great spot. Food highlights: shrimp rice, cucumber salad, banana rice pudding.

Everything about this place is amazing. It’s become my go to neighbor spot. The staff continually make me feel comfortable, the service is always fabulous, and the shrimp rice never fails to hit the spot.

Service is non-existent. After waiting for a host and finally approaching the bartender, was told outdoor seating was first come first serve. When a table opened up was told it was actually reserved for someone waiting inside? As a local resident the only thing consistent about this place is they are always busy and always rude.

Expensive, but huge fan of their wine selection and bites. It did take us three hours to get in on a Tuesday so prepare for a long wait time.
Lovely and cozy wine bar, has nice seating outside and inside, very cozy interior and friendly service. The wine list wasn't huge and we tried a few things that were ok but not outstanding. Would recommend for the atmosphere and vibe

Restaurantji Recommends
2/3 pour of wine
And $8 house pickles that seemed coming out of my fridge in a plate from the night before. See picture. Pure insanity.

Stopped in for a glass of orange wine on a warm day the wine and bartender were lovely. The host with a (pornstar mustache)however, was a bit curt and not too welcoming, especially about taking videos. Great drinks, but the hospitality felt uneven. We were just taking videos.
A mixed experience overall, lovely wine, uneven service. Worth a visit if you’re just here to unwind quietly, without your phone which in this day is absurd.

The bartender was great and so was his service but the host (short white man with a mustache) was very entitled. He came over to me and my friends (one of the few POC in the bar) and told us not only to stop taking videos but also told us we had to delete our video because he didn’t want to be in the background. Mind you, most of the people in the restaurant were taking content the entire time we were there. None of the customers were bothered by us and we even asked the bartender if we were being obnoxious and he said “no, not in my POV.. you guys are fine” Seems like the host just has a napoleon complex.

My favorite wine bar in New York — St Jardim is a triple threat of great food & drink, atmosphere, and service. I inquired about hosting a birthday event here back in 2021 and they were highly accommodating of the request, going above and beyond to service us and make it one of my most memorable birthdays. Great place for brunch, dinner, drinks, and everything in between — a true institution over the years that I will continue to frequent!
